I recently discovered on my uni campus they have 2 pinball machines.
Its a pirates of the caribbean and a MEDIEVAL MADNESS.

The latter one is the shit im sooo hooked on this thing. Yesterday i ended up taking some vape hits and playing 2 hours straight on this machine, i missed my seminar because of it lol. spent 10 bucks on this fucking machine, i will end up homeless at this rate. Im determined to break the high score, its 102.000.000 and currently my record is 36.000.000 so still a lot of playing to do.

I checked some vendors online to see if i couldnt just buy such a thing but apparently this is one of the most popular pinballs ever and it sells for around 5.000 euros!! omg

Heres some pics of this lovely thing:

Basically you have this castle and shot your pinballs at it and first the drawbridge goes down, then you open the gate and at last you can destroy the whole castle. Theres also tons of mini games like joust, trolls, catapults, peasants and awesome multiballs.

I think im in love

Also made it a mission of mine to find all the pinball machines left in my city. So fare i found 3 in a bowling joint here, they got an elvis, playboy and a ripley pinball. But they aint got shit on the medieval madness!

I LOVE pinball!

No matter how good you are at video games, comes a point they just stop. Pinball lasts as long as you can make it. The application of physical forces on the game: Forward and back-OK, Side to side-Tilt City. Catch the ball, hit the ball, flip it to another flipper? Learning just how far to pull the striker. My all time favorite was Fireball It included moving flippers, spinning discs on the table surface and was one of the first multiball machines.

I'd do some serious homework before buying a pinball machine. As in pinball maintenance. I've known a few who have and the only one that was up consistently was the one that belonged to an engineer who did his own repairs and hand crafted some of his own parts.

But, DAMN would I love to have my own Fireball machine. Hell, I burned enough quarters to buy several.

PINBOT was my fav pinball back in the day, then a startwars pinball game out in the mid 90s, damn i could pop those two games all day long, play all day on 50 cents

I used to play a lot of pinball in the late sixties and early seventies in Australia...this was in a small pool hall run by a Greek guy..he was cool, when we were high, he would turn off all the lights. Nothing better than playing pinball when high with the lights off

two doors up the road was a fried chicken joint...they used the same oil for frying chickens and frying potato chips (US = fries) and they were the most delicious chips I've ever tasted.

two doors up from the chip shop was a car lot full of cheapies..the cars were never locked so we would sit in them, eat chips and smoke cigs.

I've played on the odd pin ball machine in the 80's and 90's, but they all seem to lack the feel of the old ones..or maybe I'm just reminiscing?..the newer ones seemed faster, bouncier, noisier, brighter with more whizz-bang, but I just couldn't connect with them at all...most of the development went into the graphics and strobes and less on how it "drives"..I guess we have to blame disco for that

and yeah, it looks like the pinball machine is back in vogue

I'm a big pinball fan, I even worked for a vendor doing repairs on
various new and older pinball machines, once repaired we would
play a few games & then move on to the next repair.......

I love them all, from the original 'pinball' games where the ball had to
be caught on a series of pins (hence the name) through the analog
and digital machines. I'm looking for a Bally Eight Ball machine w/the
Happy Days characters on it, introduced in '77.......

I own a "Flash" pinball machine, the other one in your picture.

Payed $25 for it about 10 years ago. :)

I'd love to find a cheap "Addams Family" or "Twilight Zone" some day (working or not). They're my faves.

^^^ That's a beaut!

I love the simplicity and elegance of the old machines, but still prefer to play the 90's machines.

Black Knight when I was a kid, Pinbot, Taxi, Whirlwind, Earthquake later in life.

Pinball rules.

I thought the last manufacturer had stopped making machines, but I guess not. Good stuff.

all great games, classics, Black Knight was the first ever to use the 'Magna-Save' feature and also the first ever flipper active dual level playfields.......

When I was at College, there was a games room with a small bowling alley in the same building as the cafeterial. I commuted in from another city and would have long spells between classes. I played ton's of pinball and got good enough to be able to beat a couple of the machines.

There was this Aliens game that financed my coffee and cigarettes. I'd start off with a quarter and turn it into 20 free games that I'd sell for a couple of bucks. I'd work to getting an extra ball right off the bat and then work on loading up the machine. There was one combo shot that would pay off with 5 free games. Cha-Ching$$$$

Back in my teenage years,a friend worked at a full service gas station. There were two or three pinball machines there.Me and some friends would spend hour upon hour in there playing. We would take a ride and smoke a couple joints and then go back and play some more.
Some of my favorites were the Evil Knevil,Kiss and Eight Ball Delux.
While on vacation in the early nineties,at a hotel in Virgina Beach,i bumped into a Gilligans Island pinball machine.I whooped that machine bad.
Wow,now I feel I gotta go play some pinball.
