i do recall probably 15 years ago sitting in ricks 1 summer having a pint with a few friends and a lone dutch man sat with us due to lack of chairs ,,he bought the beer all afternoon for me and my mrs and would not accept 1 in return said learning english off us was a good enough swap ,,he said he was the manager at Batavia .
