what does one feed a newt/salamander thingie such as those? gold fish I hope

you need to keep a screen at the top of your tank so they don't escape and terrorize the neighbors?

lol nope they are both about 15 cm long but You can tell that they are little predators.they love to bite my finger when i put into the water and it's really freaky feeling :D:D

Those are pretty cool. I always had newts and salamanders growing up. Now we just have bearded dragons and a ball python my wife brought home from a garage sale.

These are also called Mudpuppies, correct? are they 100% water dwellers or half and half? cool!

No, they are closely related to Tiger salamanders, but not to waterdogs or mudpuppies. Species is nearly extinct, urbanization and introduced species chief culprits. Aquarium trade isn't helping, I'm sure. But then again, maybe it keeps a few around.
