lol nope they are both about 15 cm long but You can tell that they are little predators.they love to bite my finger when i put into the water and it's really freaky feeling
Those are pretty cool. I always had newts and salamanders growing up. Now we just have bearded dragons and a ball python my wife brought home from a garage sale.
No, they are closely related to Tiger salamanders, but not to waterdogs or mudpuppies. Species is nearly extinct, urbanization and introduced species chief culprits. Aquarium trade isn't helping, I'm sure. But then again, maybe it keeps a few around.
