Wow what a great seed pop 👌 , got me drooling 🤤 over here.

Did you dig up the African Frankincense seed and check it out.
Let me know if the 2nd seed doesn't pop , not had any germ complaints but occasional a seed doesn't pop.

Look forward to your journey with these , Guaranteed to find a few keepers or 5 with that selection of strains

Yeah, I haven't been that excited about a seed pop in a long time:whee:
Yes, i dug it out, the seed cracked and the tail came out, but i didn't make it to the surface and started to rot. it can happen, all good over here, bro. The 2nd seed of the African Frankincense just broke through the ground today😎

I started harvesting today as I´m afraid that the top colas will rot if I wait any longer. They had almost 11 weeks of 12/12 and they still look like they´ll go another week. I have a feeling that under LED some strains seem to have problems to finish, maybe I should cut the daytime to 11:30 to force them to ripen...
Here are some pics
#2 White Widow dom

WR#7 one of her 2 big colas, not so much resin and not too loud, a kind of nail polish smell. I found some nanners here and there but no seeds. Also there was 1 bud in the main bud, that had a tiny bit of mould, but the rest was fine. This one is probably not a keeper. Still looking good with big yield, but a trimmers nightmare:LOL:

Jabba´s Stash, super resinous, not the most pungent, but nice smell. It leaves sandy trichome dust on the parchment paper. I had a tester a week ago and wasn´t too impressed, indica high with zero motivation or much upliftment. But good sleeping aid though and the high is quite clear. But let´s give her a cure and I´ll try her again in some weeks

Hey LndRcLvr, thank your for your compliments! Yes, I'm really passionate about growing as much different cultivars as possible with my limited space. I document everything for myself to remember and love to share my experiences with the IC Fam. 💚
Welcome to my journey!

looking very yummy.
I once met a guy (friend from hemp ace) who was only focusing on White Russians at that time. He had some crazy purple phenos. Full effect and taste.
Love the old school stuff and your grow skills, great work!

Thank you my friend, nice to see you on the boards again! Yes, I noticed that most of the plants have purple/pink calyxes on the inside of the buds. You definately see and feel the F1 Power in this cross. 💪Only downside with this Strain is the bud to leaf ratio with some phenos...

Some photos from the harvest...
#4, sweet berry, overripe fruit smell. Tried a tester, this one is strong and has legs, some nanners but no seeds

#3 more Sativa looking, better bud to leaf ratio. taken to almost 14 weeks, gigantic yield, only a little bit of mold in the tops. These are only the tops, that´s about half of the plant!

My current Grail Haze Project...Because the White Russians took longer to finish than expected these seedlings stayed a little bit too long under low light with small pots. They are about 2 weeks under the San Light now and start to green up as the roots are growing. It´s already smelling heavenly hazy in there! The GMO Madness on the upper right corner has more indica leaves, the New Age Nevils Haze, SSSTN and the Thai Frankies are looking very Sativa. I´m going to wait another week until I can take clones of all of them and then will switch to 12/12 maybe even 11:30/12:30...

Hi Ace!

Good luck with your Grail Haze Project, those hazes u got there have potential for sure.
I myself have been on a few haze runs/hunts as well, always looking for the loudest frankincense possible. Just finished two Super Malawi Hazes, a BA#75 Haze and some old Western Winds (bought back in 2010). Lots of hazy smells in all of them, especially the Western Winds, but no clear/dominating frankie smell so far. They are in jars now and I want to cure them for at least 3 months.

Regarding your hazes, another week of veg should be fine i think. Are you going to repot them before flower? or after the stretch?

Bin gespannt wie es weitergeht!

Hi GreenDragon1!
Thanks for your well wishes!
It seems like we share the love for good haze! Your selection sounds very delicious.
Did you find classic Haze smelling specimens in the BA 75Hz? I grew 2 different specimen from seed and both were more woody and not really incense or classic dutch haze smell was coming from them.
I always wanted to grow Western Winds, I grew a few Kali Mist, but did not find anything similar to the samples I had in Amsterdam long time ago. I'm curious what you will report about it after the cure!

Regarding your question- I'm going to put them in 11 liter pots when switching to flowering and my plan was to uppott to 15 l after the initial stretch, at least the 4 plants in the bigger tent.

Happy Legalisierung by the way!:smoke out:
Beste Grüße

Yeah I've also grown out two different BA75 H., four seeds left :)
I just went to check on the smell of the first one again, it's about two years since harvest. Mainly old wood and ammonia/catpiss, some wet moss. a little licorice without the sweetness. When squeezing a bud, I recognize a hint of incense for a second. But it's the kind of incense smell you also get from burning those stones (not sure, was it a resin?), definately not the church/frankincense type i'm looking for.
The second plant smelled surprisingly sweet at harvest. But a different sweetness unlike cookie strains or skunk or kush. I can't wait to try it after a proper curing.

About the Western Winds... I have no clue what I got there...Over all the years I haven't found or seen any picture of a WW or Kali Mist that resembles the plants i had been growing. Seeds were purchased in 2010 btw. Started with 6, two were very nld like in terms of leaf shape and growth. Ended up with 5 females and one male. By that time I couldn't keep any males or motherplants. The remaining 5 were all very different from each other, with two expressing a very intense and long lasting stretch, really like mad, until about week 14 of flower. I have to check my notes but i think harvest was around week 17/18.. Appearance was exactly like the pearl pheno of the Grinspoon strain. It was my second or third grow ever, and i was super confused by the outcome, with the entire grow actually. Not even close to the WW/KaliM I had seen or read about before.
BUT in the end all the stress and patience were totally worth it. As I mentioned, every plant was different. Smell and taste were new to me and very unique (some were tasting like pure hash, never found any bud like that again). I can't remember how many days and nights i tried to get any decent and confirmed information on Sagarmatha's Western Winds. Some believed it to be the Old Kali Mist crossed with a Cambodian Sativa, I also read that some SkunkXHaze might have been involved, maybe some destroyer even (which could explain the presence of the pearly pheno, right? just speculation).
So, luckily the remaining four Western Winds seeds almost never left the fridge since 2010, except for a few times when moving into a new flat. Last November, 13 years later, I found some pics of that grow on an old hard drive.... and just a few minutes later all seeds were placed in wet paper towel.
Ok, more about that in my own thread I'm going to start soon.

11l and 15l? Fett!! :) excited to see the stretch in 11l pots

Jooo, happy Legalisierung , ich kann es immer noch gar nicht richtig fassen. jippie

Grüße zurück!

Yeah, I can believe it was quite challenging growing such stretchy Sativa without a lot of experience back in the day.
You said the seeds were from 2010...I don't remember exactly the time but Sagamartha Seeds lost all their parental stock in a bust and therefore your seeds may be a f2/reproduction line. As far as I remember, Western Winds was the old Kali Mist Version before Simon founded Serious Seeds. Simon worked the line further to a shorter flowering version. The Kali Mist I grew was done in 10 weeks so no crazy Sativa stretch and unfortunately not the desired Sativa effect I was looking for...
