Accidentally burned main cola

Sup once again IC. I have a problem. I burnt my top cola on a hawaiian snow. What should I do. It still seems to be budding, but slower, even though it is only slightly burned. It is one month into flowering. Is there something I can do that won't affect my yield? Should I hack it or just let it grow? Any info is appreciated.

Can you cut out the burn spot carefully and let the bud recover? Isn't HS a sativa? If so the bud will be okay in the long run, but it is going to cost you some yield from the burned spot as well as from stress.

Yea, just cut it out, and it won't look that bad when dried when you leave it on there. Everybody on here has burned a cola. Congrats, you popped your growing cherry...lol

Yeh just go the chop, the plant will be wasting its energy trying to repair the burn wen that energy could go into beefing up the rest of the plant. No brainer IMO.

same thing happened to me, i did what everybody has suggested and just cut the burnt area, and everything was fine.

Once this happened to me and I didn't do what everyone has recommended. I just let it stay there instead. A bit later I had mold. Do what everyone has told you to do and cut the burnt parts off...

Well, I just cut the burnt top. It was dried to a crisp after a few days with no signs of improvement. Fuck!!! Now I lost the main cola & ruined my yield. WTF!!!

Damn that sucks bro...i burned mine like a week ago,scared the shit outta me wen i thought i had to cut it. Almost cried at the thought of cutting my sativa cola wen itz lik at 6ft..wuld have had lik a bald spot on the top with all the other cola blooming an my second to biggest cola cut lol...Looking like it turned around though,i just talked to an begged it 2 come back lol
