Hello people! And thanks, rüdiger!

Here's the weekly update with photos from yesterday.

We had another rainy week. Pouring rains and hails.
HxT #2, as healthy as it has been looking, is now dead - on my inspection yesterday, it had its leaves drooping and with black spots and I removed it. I've never seen such healthy plant die so suddenly. Didn't expect it from a sativa hybrid at least. I'm a bit confused because if it died from overwatering or soil born fungus, its roots must have been brown but they had nice white color. Maybe it was infected through wounds on the leaves received during the hailstorms or the stem hole made by the caterpillar (see previous photos from a week ago).
Anyways, I have a brave little soldier to take its place - a small feminized Panama (Ace 2013). I started 2 seeds given by a friend about the 20th of May, unfortunately only one sprouted - the other one was the first Ace seed I've had that is failing to sprout.

Here is HxT #4, all fine and healthy, looking more and more Hazy, both as leaf and plant structure. It's just a bit too stiff (but not much!) in the stems, the pure Haze I've tried (Nirvana's version) had very flexible stems. I'm very happy that I chose this plant of the HxTs to replace the dead Haze 1.

HxT #1 is about 180 cm tall and has undiferentiated pre-flowers (tiny branches with leaves).

Hi Yoss,

Sorry to hear of your loss, but the rest look very good. I was missing your weekly update when delayed even a little.

Best,

ThaiBliss

Thanks for the update.
Sorry for the loss.
On the bright side, there is still some hazes left.

To who it may concern,
I have 5 PHxT left that are fighting against 100+ weather.
Nature culled three of the ten and I culled the runt.
I transplanted the 6 them as to keep them in a shadier place.
Lost one to root shock.
Three have stopped growing considerably.
I put them all in full sun, I figured if they aren't going to make it, I wont be mad.
I'm not completely heartless, I just figured tough love.
Take care :)

Hi, 1withdaCouch! Sounds like your plants are already in the heat of the summer. We don't get 100+ temperatures before the 2nd part of July and I hope my plants will have good root system by then. Post some photos if you happen to take ones, it would be nice to compare the HxT phenotypes expressed outdoors.

And since I can't let the audience and namely Thaibliss wait, here's the promptly-served weekly update ;)

HxT #1 has reached 2 meters. It has hollow stems.
HxT #4 is taking a very compact bushy structure, with 5-6 big side branches that are already not "dominated" by the top. Beautiful.

And the rest - HxT #1 & #3, and the little Panama:

I removed a big bottom branch of HxT #1 because it was casting shade onto the little Panama:

And here is the Panama:

Hey yoss! Very healthy and good looking plants you are growing on your lovely spot. Also like the way you sowed the clover leguominoses below your plants. They protect the soil and fix nitrogen, very good helpers

Best vibes gemüse

Thank you for the good vibes, people!

Here's the update after a week of rains. Lots of rain. There have been floods 50 km away. Fortunately, my property is not close to a river.

HxT #4, in its glory at sunset on the longest day of the year, next to some tomatoes and a small birch tree :)

Unfortunately, my place was seriously hit by a hailstorm yesterday. My tomato and pumpkin plants suffered the most. Even though the hazes also received some damage, I'm happy that they were not bent over by the strong winds and ice and don't have a single branch broken. The branches bent but did not break at their bases.
So, Ace's Haze x Thai has strong structure. Great for big plants outdoors.
HxT #1 and #3 have all their big fan leaves from the side I usually take photos of them beaten down.

The little Panama is surprisingly well, maybe because her leaves are still small.

Hi Yoss,

I'm glad to hear your Cannabis plants made it through the hail in decent shape.

I think I sense another possible candidate for an award winning picture coming on:

Love the classic Sativa leaf:

Looks a bit Mexican to me, but I think it is probably the Meao Thai coming through.

Keep up the good work,

ThaiBliss
