Federal:had a quick question, then im about to start putting some pics up here.... anyways, when i was cloning in my ez-cloner, i put 2-4 clones in each site... some of the plants fused together... so 4 plants turned into 1 plant.... i was wondering, if i planted 2,3,4 plants in the same pot, does it count only as 1 plant? some of the cuttings fused together, some of them did not, just the roots tangled eachother.... i plan on keeping these together their while life... any input on whether or not they would count as single plants or not?

As part of the 1995 revisions of the federal sentencing guidelines, the Sentencing Commission defined the word "plant." The Commission essentially adopted the Ninth Circuit's definition as stated above in the Burke case. Specifically, beginning November 1, 1995, for the purposes of the federal guidelines, a plant is defined as:
. . .An organism having leaves and a readily observable root formation (e .g., a marijuana cutting having roots, a rootball, or root hairs is a marijuana plant.) (Sec. 2D1.1 Application Note 22, as revised.) "
