70watt hps heat

Well I have my plant a few inches away from the light and she seems to be loving it....even though she is still a young sprout......I would really love to see the comparison on a grow using 2 42w cfls and a 70w hps.......and see which buds come out more compact and which ones yield more.........

LOL, no it's gotten plenty of use, it's just empty at the moment. My buds have always come out of there a bit larfy, and I know it's because of the heat from the bulb and the resulting inability to get the plants close enough to get some density, even though it's been tweaked to all run as cool as possible. Never had those problems with 400 and 1k HPS. Sure you could rig a cool tube and all that, but it'd be easier just to run fluoros in a micro.

I keep mine 70W as close as I can... couple of tops are just 2'' from the bulb
(sometimes even closer), no problems whatsoever

For a PC it's wise to mount a 80mm fan on the reflector cause it blowes more air than the 120mm.

Need to get some crazy indica strain...just because I don't like fluffy buds
