Whatsup. I decided to pop eight beans that i "made" during my last grow. The male was a nirvana white rhino that refrained from showing sex until 38 days at flower, and the female was an indica-looking durban poison also from nirvana. The seeds were hardly noticable upon the plant while growing, but once dried you couldnt tap a nugget on your fingertip without dropping a decent pile of beaners. Off of a 28 inch plant i harvest about 16 grams of decent smoke, and 71 brown, tiger -striped, seemingly viable seeds.
After chopping down the girls in my cabnet i stopped growing altogether on account of full-time collage courses and a new puppy! Busy times! But summertime has arrived and i started to get that itch again lol. About six weeks ago i popped ten of my best looking homemade seeds, all chosen for their dark color and relativly homogenus overall appearance. Out of ten, eight of them sprouted tails and grew into happy seedlings, using a home made soilmix and 750ml bottles. Two of them were a cut above the rest and i decided to place them into flower after one week, and about two nodes. They really exploded in my grow cabinet, which consists of four CFLs, each differing in wattage an Lumen output. The lowest emitting bulb would be 1800 and the largest is a 2,600. Three of the bulbs are in the flower appropriate spectrum, while the last bulb has a veg appropriate kelvin. I use two 120v dvc fans to circulate air throughout my cab, which is 3.5 feet in height, 1.5 feet in depth, and 1.5 feet in width (i know not the biggest). I use clear white plastic to line the corners of my grow cab, and i use a make-shift method of fermenting yeast with sugar in a 750ml bottle to aid healthy co2 levels for the ladies. The two plants began to flower after 9, and 17 days in flower. The girl who showed at day 9 of flower grew to become a mostly female sativa-like hermie, which was chopped and tossed at day 13 sadly. The other girl, much more indica dominant, has grown to become a lovely six week old plant with vigarous growth and multiple juicy looking budsites. The rest of the ten sprouts were quickly replanted along the floor of a local forest as i simply didd not have the time to tend to them properly (exams were very diffiicult this year) and i cannot stand to purposly kill, or do away with any lifeform, especially one as vigerous and persisitant as healthy marijuana.
I now have total of five plants in my grow room, the healthy indica-dom female that i just described, and four younger plants, each is around three weeks olds. All plants have been started in 750ml bottles and have been transplanted at one week into their permanent homes. The sizes of their permanent homes very quite a bit as i am searching for that perfect size for my availble grow space.
The first two pics are of my indica dom-female at six weeks of life and 3 weeks since first pistals showed, grown in a 4L milk jug.
The third pic is of a sativa domiant plant in a 2L at three weeks of life, no pistals
The fourth pic is of another sativa-ish plant, this one is being grown in a 1L apparatus.
Any info i missed i will get back atcha in the next four days! its late and my dealers been selling some couch lock for weeks lol (although quite decent pot)
comments? CFL for life. 12/12 actually works. Drbud created amonster.
