There you go :)

they're small 15W, I remembered more like 18-21W T_T
Bought off eb4y 8€ each I guess - Labeled as UVB DJ lights......

EDIT: I'm killing bagseed#2 - tall, skinny, unhappy leaves droopy as hell :-( Third plant killed after star shaped wappa and BS#1 this round, damn.
Critical Kush is quite slow, but there's a Wappa rooting and one rooted I'd like to veg more this time, before she enters the tent.

thanks man :) they're just hanging for now, as I have no clue of where next batch' colas will be.

Took a fast pic from behind the curtain as lights are just on now- they don't even look on, save for some violet light in the shades projected, and exiting the tent when open.

*EDIT: I've got plants ranging from just-in to 6 weeks flo - I should be able to get an idea of the effect within 1-2 months.
After that *if it doesn't work for me* I'll switch the UVs for a couple 23W 6500K, tornado design simply hanging - because the 150W looks to me like she could use some help, compared to when I had the 110W pll alongside, and the big fan can hopefully take no sweat at the same time - most important of all, with summer approaching.

This is just my kind of grow. Just enough plants to make sure they all get some TLC

=D

Hey there rooti, so how long was the vegging this time and how much you want to prolong it next time?
Sorry for the bagseed, i always have this emotional sentiment to them as my first grow was a bagseed too (like for most growers i believe).

Stay relaxed! :smoke:

thanks CM ;-) I'm looking TLC up right away, I confess... ^.^'

I usually let them go 4 days to ten days in the pc, after I transplanted them into soil - approx. as they bounce back and start growing, or days after that.
They're usually 3" to 5" tall. So no veg, or close to it.
But I'd like to wait this time till 6-7", or as much as the pc/room allows... because they're way too short for this space otherwise.

eheh btw thanks mate, will do! :)

*** little pc update (cramped now...)

Hi rootidec!

hola!! :)

A single 6500k bulb[26 watts] is my choice currently because of this graphic. But I am also running a 4000k bulb as well, plus three other 26w 2700k's.

Definitely subbed! Thanks for making it interesting!

Here's a spectrum chart. I have a bunch of these to compare.......

although this would be good to use
31gTItNz1IL._AA160_.jpg
Thermal Image Camera [expensive Spectro-photometer essentially]

Edit: I also use a 6500K and 2700k in veg.....seems to work good. The 6500k puts out some mean UV it seems, but the glare is more noticeable, which is ironic since UV is invisible.

I do use sunglasses when I peer into my cabs, but I wish I had a pair of mountaineers glasses, to tell you the truth.

thanks for the info oregonism... that's something new for me! :O
I too noticed 6500k and 2700k work really well... never had a 4k tho: really white light should that be?

about watching inside, I'm relying to a complicate solution...

just under the tent I play with computers... I always have a laptop+CRT, and had a 10$ webcam lying around.
quality is crappy but I can smoke one and still watch the plants before bedtime... :-D
cam spies inside when tent is slightly open, and has a sunglasses lens ducttaped to it to fight strong light (doesn't work otherwise)

I'm rather curious about PAR and wavelenghts you talked about last post.
I'll digg through some threads on IC - never scratched through the surface in that compartment.

update, now that I'm at it... :)

28-30cm square plant, 11" square.

wappa a, wick plant and double plant pot.
first and latter here are 7 weeks approx.

I'm switching to normal pots with next two. no experiment was satisfactory over untouched plants, when no vegging.
the vscrog is coming along nice instead, I may repeat it when tent is full and there's time to plan another one :)

niceeeeee bro

thanks sour!! :)

That vscrog looks like its going to be nice

=D

hey CM, hope so! :)
vscrog's buddies haven't done well so far:

Wappa A (approaching 8 weeks):

I'm pulling this one because I haven't got anything to smoke, plus she's taking much space while giving back less than last round's 1L pots. Nice plant nonetheless :) but I got some coming too.

Already smoked some and she's anjoyable - it's a pity to tear it down, but bending+no vegging seems not to have worked - bending must have stunted growth, while 12/12 made her flower anyways, still short. (EDIT: No surprise as every expert tells so!)

***
Wick plant, too, I expected her to be better: she's doing fine but she's a little behind, shows mild defs, res gets algae and stinks after two days, roots try to crawl down the wick because 0.5L or less is really short of the estate required for her, probably! Aeration was a failing too, maybe: two straws and holes in the pot can't cope with the oxygenation roots require when medium is always wet.

Double plants pot
is approaching 8 weeks and is healthy / flushing properly, but plants are tiny... same argument apply here I guess, not enough veg :)

***
Vscrog and her massive vegtime proved to be the way to go. Waiting is well worth as demonstrated by the best micro threads:

***
Double Wappa A really accelerated these last week.
I'm cutting 2 fan leaves in front to be able to keep her closer to lights. I'll try if I can to bend rows toward the bulb later on.

***
Just added a wappa, 6"

***
I had to buy 20 L soil (biobizz light mix) and a new bulb (150W philips, GiB was running since sept. '12 non-stop)

While I was at it, bought 5 fem seeds of Durga Mata (par. seeds) and a 100 ml bloombastic - so I can choose between molasses and this one sometimes.
Critical Kush clone has finally started rooting - it took ages lol - so there're going to be two new strains to play with soon for genetics search! :)
