hola' twisted!
been a while....good to see ya again :smoke:

after seeing a few HB gro's i had to get in on the fun :D

gnome - yes that is the same structure i am seeing.with the 2 taller ones of mine growing very vertical lateral branches, they stay narrow and can pack many in close -

very sturdy branches all around branching , much thicker than the Scott's or SkyWalker OGs i grow, but seems closer to My ReservaP. Headband. My scotts and skyW branches are like spaghetti noodles and these H.Bangers are like pen or marker size....about 2x width of the other OGs i have...(these are all from seed packs so i dont know or try to compare clones)

also the headbangers did stretch quite a bit on the flip under hps, im just getting little white hair budlets forming, but already a few trich's starting to form on the small leaves

Im glad you did not get nanners - qualilty genes holding up

I'm definitely seeing the quailty,
after taking several cuts, 3-5 per plant the tray was loaded and
something like 5-6 were left over so they were put into cups with water, all of them sprouted in 10 days and most had
a heavy root system as time went on.

health-n-vigor is usually an overlooked underrated item in what to
look for in a keeper.

I like taking samples around 30days
gives me an idea of whats coming and who might be a shining star.

my fav so far, #9
despite being green a strong sourdeez flavor going on.
very stony and potent for how early the testers are.
I have a feeling the majority of the pheno's will follow a similar path.

i have 4-5 cuts of all pheno's in perlite taken right before bloom
all rooted-n-ready to go as soon as all the pheno's are tested
I think I'll start potting em up monday and do another headbanger run asap

picking a keeper will be tough with this bunch.
there's maybe 1,2 or 3 that I don't care for much in structure but I agree with ya
and best to do a clone run and see what shakes out of that before deciding.
I also kept cuts of the best stud and and flowered out the seed plant and have a vial full of HB pollen for F2s
also thinking to try my hand at chucking a bit of pollen.

so far 1/2 the 10 of pheno's have been tested and they are already near keeper status in taste and potency,
amazing for as young as they are I image lethal may be a good description at harvest :joint:

these are easy to run and take the nutes well,
all but a couple are fussy feeders and have the claw from
too much N.

more pics coming soon

Ladies of the Nite

Ladies of the Nite

ok... had some time so I grabbed a few nite shots,
most were blurred but 3 were worth uploading.

things are definitely heating up now.
i don't kno exactly where I'm at along the day count because of the timer screw up
but i'm guesstimating late 40s.
a few plants pistil's are starting to color up.

I cut samples about 2 maybe 2-1/2 wks ago when what I thought it looked like 30 days.
Impressive is definitely the 1st word that comes to mind.
out of ten,
9 are already at keeper status in the potency, taste and long azz buzz dept.
another plus, these plants also have some good rock hard nugz
on most phenos

I'm thinking at least another week-n-1/2 to 2wks to chop
its becoming obvious they're starting to stack the weight on now double time
i'm having to dig out the tomato stakes.... the 5 footers :D
about 3 have needed tie wire sessions from the bulking up that's been going on.
these headbangerz have some extremely stout lateral stalks but when that weight hits the tipping point there's no maybes, they're going down!

here's a few pics from tonite, sorry for the nite shots but it's way mo betta than that wretched orange hps

very nice,

ive noticed that on my tallest/stretchy plant all of the budsites are pushing up/out from little stems ranging from 2- 5 inches..like their own little single nug branches..lol like little nug lollipops..... and not sitting against the main branch as usual until the top 12 inches or so....the others all look more normal structure tight to the branches intersects

your plants look good, im jealous that im a few weeks behind and waiting

all mine didn't start hitting the funky groove until later too meadowman.
everything thing was on the sweet side and wondered if I'd get any
sour at all with this batch

I'm seeing the same thing on my long stretchers also.
about and inch of stem before the nug is on it.

I'm seeing a wide range of differing traits in these 10 phenos.
some are showing cal and other types of defs while others are deep forest green
and clawing from too much nutes.

i'll be glad when i pick a keeper and can dial things in,
I think #9 is my girl.... :)

all the sweetness of early bloom is gone and a dominant sour pungent smell is what you get at 1st, then a somewhat gas/fuely smell is in the middle to tail end,
no hash anywhere in there.
gotta xcuse me, I'm bad at describing canna smells and Ive never handled any sourD or cross to be able to compare to

well you killed it... some nice work man...
lol.. well I made sure the girls were comfortable and well fed
Karma deserves big kudos for creating such an impressive line to work with :smoke:
