Today when i arrived and went to the tent room some bad smelling was there, burned clip on fan, lucky it didnt get more time because it was really hot uff,

I'm just curious,
Was the fan still spinning or was the blade not moving ?

I've got 3 clip on fans.
I'm interested in how they fail and how dangerous they might be.

They suposedly made from fire resistant plastic but they can melt pretty bad sometimes if using chinese plastic. Since it smelled like burn it either stopped or the motor pads don't make good contact anymore so noisy lower speed..

It stoped but was still on, pretty hot, i moved the wire and it worked but slower..i think the oscilating ones have that chronic problem of bad connection or something like that, dunno..basically it was working for nothing.

Im doing the lazy way, a bit like you bro buds :D, i top water them and then i give them enough bottom water to make the coco moist all day
20220703_105956.jpg

I think they are getting a bit too much N, maybe thats why the top buds seems a bit stretchy a getting a lot of leaflets, maybe ill just lower the ec since now they rest in water, second bud pic is from the Super that is further along

The Skunk is going good but in this heat wave they all suffered a bit and this one and the Amnesia asked for a higher ec and since they are nwver dry now i uped it from 1.5 to 1.65 but i thimk this one wants a bit more

Heat sucks!!
They seem to be handling it just fine though, nice bulking up in there :good:
Not properly, they burned and lost a bunch of bottom leafs, ence i raised calnit a bit more and the EC too, and even if they dont show a lot of bad in the top, they weren't that fine in these last days, also i think they are asking for more MG wich i will sprinkle a bit in the already made mix to see what they say
Plus they drinked so much that one of those days at the end of it they were completely dry and leafs were all down, except for the Skunk but was in that way, its funny how we can see them raise them again in front of us while they drink :D
Thanks bro, i guess they bulked a bit good since im not that concerned with them and how they are like before :D

I got 5 minutes for an update, so much things in my life that i dont have much time for the girls even less to pic them and post them..
So i let the Coco of the Super dry to the max and in 2 days she sucked every thing from itself, now she is drying. Due to bad fertilizer timing i thing she is very larfy, not mold that i could see, not much smell either

The Amanesia and the Skunk now have more space
20220721_235457.jpg

The Amnesia is going good and is not so hungry like the Skunk, i say this because the Skunk is yellowing the top leafs and iv been raising Ca and Mg a bit and the ec too, i like the way the buds of the Skunk look and i think she is going to get to the finish line

Hello buddy! Plants don't look so good, but I think heat is the biggest problem. I still think is a good harvest for what thry must have been through! Maybe we should just learn to maximize cold season yelds and just enjoy summer with no grow!
I hope to quit fking myself over and over again by trying summer grows! Last one for me, as summers get worse and worse!
Take care of what matters, bro. See you around!
Regarding the fly traps, use distilled (dehumidifier water maybe?) To water those. They don't like much EC in their water, they are bog plants.

Due to life im forced to leave my house until the end of August so for some days now they are only get tap water ans i incresed the night hours to 12.
While they are almost white due to lack of nutrients, they aquired a purple tone and start smelling much more and sweeter, i guess its a nice stress management protocol :D

The Amnesia could go another month i think

The Skunk could go one more week or 2 i think but both have a bunch of milky trichs, it is what it is

Hi @Sampas92 I wanted to ask you about the ppm for P, and you keep it low ? And was wondering about that as it's high in many flower recipes ?
Hi bro
Im not the best person neither the most experienced to explain or suggest anything regarding your question but...
I can tell you that i were afraid of for example the micro nutrients were low in my recipe (yara orange), later i found out (after someone also explaining to me) that in coco since you water that much times per day (if you can and want) they will not lack them (probably)
Some recent studies suggest that neither K is needed that high as some guys use them..
Keep in mind that some recipes are like that only because thats how the ferts are formulated (not cannabis drive like my yara, so some recipes may have some values higher or lower and still work), for instance you see Jacks have iron very high compsring to my Yara but they didnt showed iron deficiency and talking about deficiences, some manifestations of the plants look similar when deficient or excess plus the old talk about different lights and spectrums pushing something more or less.
If you run coco with multi watering maybe you should try start low on fert levels, raise the number of waterings per day as they show they need more nutrients and after the water cicle is complete then raise the ppms slowly because you can always add but you cant take..
I know i didnt answer you about your question of P, but like i said, im not the person to ask, i can only say to research a lot, see the most experience ones and what they say, scientific papers, compare all of that with some canna fert brands and do your choice.

Peace :tiphat:

Skunk on the right amnesia on the left, i must say, i cleaned and discarded the bottom fluffy buds that some would make hash, but those tops are really dense and hard, way harder than my previous grows, if i would continue to grow, i would never changed from coco again, even tho, with some restrictions on water and eletricity that some Europeans may face in the future, it may not be the best choice, but i loved it, the only thing that i should have done was the automated irrigation, but it is what it is.
Btw the coco is so rooted that it all feel like a rock, really hard to push through even with a finger, strong roots, a bit yellowish after harvest but maybe because of the drying phase and a bit of too much bottom watering without bubbling.
