Also recieved 3 more pc fans this morning plan on using at least 1 maybe 2 tops inside flower chamber to also help airflow and sturdy the stems up a little

So even with 2 extra lights and bigger pots equaling less air to heat up in chamber temps are still running too low night and day around 65 lights on 54 right now lights off thinking reflectix double reflective insulation is quite thick think it would bump my temps up to where i need and ive seen a shit ton of people use it on here, would it be just as effective as flat white paint as far as reflecting light, i know it will hold heat better obviously its insulation but like to hear some thoughts while i still have lil money to burn lol

Refectix is great stuff ime. For a lil more heat, maybe just add a CFL or two and get a lil more a light as a bonus.

So actually got home from work and with 2 extra bulbs at some point during the day today i was at work 10 hours so idk when it got up to 86° which imsure is right on brink of being ok but not ideal temperature i assume. I have those 3 fans will be wiring at least 1 into inside of flower chamber for better air flow. Air flow should be better also from little fixing of plant stand to get them closer to lights without blocking all the light and alot of air so should help alot and i think the problems on leaves are due to high ph level from my tap water found a chart of all bottled waters and theyre ph levels and oxygen reduction potential. From my research ive found about 6 to 6.5 ph is good correct me if im wrong. Decided to get a 24 pack of deja blue youll see its levels in charts

Man this took forever to upload these pics way too long. But anyways noticed black spots on some leafs the other day and theyre still dieing lil on the bottom and curling a little bit. Now i think this is because the ph like i said heres some pictures theyre doing pretty damn good though one would be over 1ft tall but theyre all tied down pretty good getting alot more shape than straight up.

And they look a little different in last picture as to all the ones before because i LST'D some more and those pistils are shooting right up off the stem in most spots thinking will have to flower the 2 in small containers a little earlier than the bigger container one id like to see how big i can get it we'll just see if i even get some females first will be getting better pots tomorrow havnt had much time to look around due to work have went to couple places havnt seen anything suitable too my needs but its not spring yet so everything is still pretty scarce in lawn and garden areas

Anybody else think this looks like overwatering/lack of oxygen in the root zone?

A 2qt pot with that size plant would take a minimum of 3 days to require watering in my system. My temps are low 80's, I have WAY more airflow than this cab, and I run a mix with about 60% coco/40% perlite.

my flower cab......

I mean thats very possible i water every 3 days minimum but my temps are 85° with low humidity and a little bit smaller space than yours im about 1.8 sq ft with same height to lights from floor but i had to moisten soil up lil after transplant

Not tryin to bust your chops here bro......Im thinking overwater considering you are running in a peat based mix with considerably less drainage/areation than mine and dont have the airflow I have drying things as much. I dont know what my fan is rated at, but it moves about as much air as the 6" Vortex 450cfm fan I use to cool 2 400w hids in my big system.

Thats a dope set up like the fan idea on your box and yeah your probably right but tap water aint great for plant though am i roght unless your tap is runnin below 7ph which would be pretty unusual maybe not mines not good i know it isnt but going to get some size 1 nursury pots 6-7 in diameter 9 in tall they should be perfect and about to add a fan to inside of flower cab the intake fan in flower cab is running somewhere about 100 cfm or lil more it like pc fan but huge came off a industrial oven and so did the smaller one i have exhausting but this new fan is from pc tower it has 57.8 cfm so should help but with size of my space i think its decent airflow going to run new fan off of lights so theyres not 2 fans blowing plants at night the one inside will shut on and off with the lights

I find nothing wrong with tap water. Mine comes out at about 8.5ph. I do not ph my water because once I mix my nutes in that goes down to about 6.2 and I have dolomite lime in my mix which has a ph of 7 and works well to bring it up or down so its near 7 most of the time. Some argue that this is a bad approach but a hell of alot of soil gardeners have been doing this for eons with great success. If this was a business for me and I were concerned about getting every possible gram I could, I might do something else. We're talking about "optimum" vs good enough to put fire ass smoke in your pipe on the regular. Guys get very esoteric on here. MJ responds well to all kinds of manipulation but she will truck along just fine on her own without meters and math. My system is simple, water it and watch it. You've seen what this method can produce in my pics. My smoke is always better than anything on the street. Things arent "optimum", but I dont use a formula 1 car to go pick up a pack of Swishers either.
What you are using here is a soil mix intended for general pupose gardening. It contains peat moss, limestone, gypsum, humus, compost, and is innoculated with mycorrhizae. The biology and organics in this soil mix will make up for imperfect ph. Few vegetable gardeners ph their water and most plants prefer a slightly acid environment like MJ. This doesnt have to be rocket science unless ya want it to be. You cant do stupid shit like using water thats WAY out on either end but my experience with these kinds of soil mixes are that they are very forgiving and great for beginners.

Here's a pic from my HID grow that I run the exact same mix and nute solution in as my cfl system. I can pull this without doing anything but watering it. Temps during this run were hitting near 100. My carbon filter had clogged from years of use, choking down my fan and I couldnt afford a new one at the time. The brown areas where the bud was too heavy for the stems and fell onto the bulb(its vertical and hangs near the canopy) for a day....

you can see some foxtailing from the heat on this lil baby nug.....lol

Yeah I hear you my first grow I ever did I never did any research just used a few CFLs had a cardboard box the one thing I overdid so was the water I only used bottled Fiji water ever on it I got quite expensive and it turned out to be mail was 4 feet tall but I got some water today its rated 6 ph so hopefully that will help and I got some nice pots from my local nursery for a quarter apiece originally $8 a piece at Home Depot

Got another thermostat/hygrometer and timer got veg side going 3 seeds atm germinated and planted supposedly feminized and 3 in flower chamber starting 12/12 tonight 6 2700k's 2 5500k bulbs.

Hey u7 its been a while since I've seen your garden love the evolution it has made. Going thru the thread I believe you said your humidity was low. If thats the case it could be part of the reason you have droopy leaves. So in veg try and keep the humidity high like 70s and 80s and drop it to half that in flower. Looking good keep up the good work.

Been awhile since posted no new pics atm its been 1 week tomorrow and no signs of gender yet 3 more seeds started theyre looking good il post some pics tomorrow afternoon...stay tuned
