Took your advice

Took your advice

You ever veg em out any bigger, Harry? Tons of resin, dude!! Small plants are easy to waterlog early, and with your lights on temps in the mid 70's will take a while to dry out with little roots. Definitely second what darth said about going easier on the N. You can always add more. Also +1 on fonzee's suggestion to minimize the day/night temp variation. I run in a tent & lights on at night when the house (intake air) is in 60's & lights off when house is in 70's. I like the lights on temps up a bit from where you run for the first 1/2 of flower too. Seems like 75-low 80's lights on works best for me thru budset, then I back the light up & try to drop the temps a little via an open window to ripen.

Do you ever flower in anything other than soil? Sometimes rockwool cubes can take a while to play nice with soil, IME.

I took your advice about running the lights at night and off during the day and man has it helped with the humidity issue I was having. Before I switched, my night time humidity levels have gotten as high as 83%!!! with the lights off. Around 40-52% with the lights on. With the switch the humidity levels are around 40-54% with the lights off and damn near the same with the lights on. Can't say thanks enough for that heads up. Peace.

A few Berkeley Patients Group clones

A few Berkeley Patients Group clones

Okay so just left BPG(shout out BPG and they're entire staff). One GSC from Queen Bee and two GG4 from Grass Roots, never tried any of they're clones but I hear great results from those who have. 2 week veg for this trio and into flower they go.

In the tent

In the tent

So I moved my Cookie Glue into the tent a few days ago on a 12/12 cycle and it's getting to be a decent size to me. Oh and one pic of my GDP starting to show some purples on the flowers.

Moved the Fire Scouts into the tent a few days ago as well and they have been rapidly filling out. Pretty good light penetration from being topped. Excited about these.

Platinum Fire Scout

About two weeks into flowering so far and is taking off, hella bud sites. Starting to produce resin, not much of a smell at the moment. Really nice structure with the plants being topped. Fed and foliar sprayed today. Lets see what they look like next week.

Hey Harry, I'm on day 19 of flowering (my 1st grow) and I was just starting to think I may need to do something about my humidity levels. I'm usually between 55% - 65% humidity. From what I've read, I want to be lower during flowering. Are you in New England? I figure if you're in a similar climate, I may follow suite and light at night.

That's pretty crazy that your girls are flowering on day 25 veg. Maybe that means massive buds in the future!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I noticed an immediate change in humidity levels when I switched on/off times. Although the humidity in my tent seems to climb right when the sun starts to rise and things warm up to the high 50s for an hour or so and then go back to the mid 40s the warmer it gets outside. Not bad I guess considering that my levels used to be in the mid 70-80 range, crazy I know lol. I'm in Northern Cali, The Bay Area and the temperature is normally pretty morderate aside from a week or two of hot weather. You're in New England right, it's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow's Memorial Day weekend has predicted thunderstorms at night!! If your lights are off at that time your humidity may go haywire. I'm not saying it's a guarantee alone but say if you did switch on/off times along with a nice dehumidifier you'll definately have a better growing condition. Oh and at all costs the most IMPORTANT reason to control humidity is for the antichrist a.k.a powdery mildew.

SuperSativa here's an example of what too high of a humidity level did for me. A few photos of a beautiful Candyland. Had to cut her down and cut my losses, smh. So I did some spring cleaning and moved all plants out and sprayed the entire tent down cleaned the removable liner hella good, dusted my lamps and shit looks like the day I bought it lol. It's 56 degrees outside but my tent is at 73 and the humidity is at 43%.

Oh by the way if you happen to come across any Candyland clones GRAB THEM. This plant has an amazing GSC smell a really musty fresh GSC smell. Great bud structure and is dense. I'm hooked.

BPG Sherbet

Happened to be in Berkeley today and decided to stop at BPG, picked up one Sherbet plant. Grew this one before and was really impressed with the quality of the buds. I'll see how it goes.

Just in time for summer

Just in time for summer

Okay so I made a clone run to get a month or more of vegging in. Placed all plants in 5 gallon buckets and gave a nice watering and let them sun bathe. 8 Sour Diesels, 4 Gorilla Glue #4s, 4 Girl Scout Cookies, 1 Sherbet, 2 Purple Caddy's, 3 Charlie Sheen's(got some seeds a guy was passing out at Harborside, they popped and look good so far). Excuse my backyard guys, I've been pretty busy lately with work, kids and plants lol.

Alrighty so the 2 Fire Scouts I have are exactly on their 25th day of flowering, the aroma is getting stronger by the day. Nice Cookies smell at the moment, come to think of it I'm not exactly sure what genetics other than GSC's makes up this strain. I'm going 63 days on these two and can't wait to see them finish up.

Cookies, GG4

Cookies, GG4

3 photos of GG4 and two of some Cookies, 8 days into flowering. All of my recent clones have been fed with an organic tea brewed in Berkeley. I'm experimenting with a few plants comparing overall health and growth vigor between the Roots nutrients and organic teas. So far so good. I will continue the tea treatment up until week 3 or 4 of flower and then introduce my normal feeding for the remainder of the cycle. First 3 photos are GG4 and the last 2 are GSC's. Hey!!! Didn't notice at the time but the fourth photo bottom right hand corner has a Daddy Long Leg hanging out, I'll move him into the backyard tomorrow, p.s. don't kill insects bro. Unless they're Giant Hornets of course, then break out the flame thrower.

Yo thanks for stopping in homie! Alright so the KK is an outstanding kush pheno and I'd suggest giving it a nice veg and watch her really spread out in flower. Beautiful bud formation, loud ass kush smell. Just brushing against this plant the smell will stay on you long after you leave but the taste wasn't as kush/chemy fuel that I was expecting not a bad taste at all. Still distinctly kush though. The SFV OG kicked ass in that department so if you can snag a few of those you won't be disappointed. All in all though I was satisfied with the KK. Oh and the resin content is insane.
