Thanks for your comments !

I will let you know the dry weight at the end of the week. The weed is currently drying inside the blooming room, the ventilation is turned on only several minutes per hour.

Take a look at the roots. They are wrapped around the air diffusors with a density that I've never seen before. I suspect the H&G fertilizer to be fucking good !

Sorry not a picture of the biggest cola, I gave it to someone.
The dry weight is 133g, it's 0.88g/w, lol I had never reached this ratio with a 400W HPS. :xmasnut:

Nice little set up you got there Boomer.

I got 4 150W HPS lamps for 10 bucks each early this year and converted them (with mail box shrouds) to grow lights. I started with one, then two, then just added a third not long ago. To add the 4th, I need to buyild a single hood.

Isn't it great fun building stuff, especially developing a system like you've done so well? Very nice, clean work, my compliments. I like to build stuff too.

This current grow has produced amazing results. I just gave 4 of my smaller plants (almost matured - close enough) away, leaving one small, and two big ones. I've been staking and tying up my two big ones so they don't fall over from weight of the bud. I'll get some new pics up someday.

Best of luck with your projects.

Nice root porn shot bro, roots love oxygen and will grab onto those air stones like madness. Great work and awesome harvest.

Happy Gardening All.

HI

Some news of my setup, the cloning room is now running with 5 watts of leds !

The previous setup with the CFl wasn't great because the plants reach it and get burned. Also the plants wrap around the bulb that avoid to pull back the bubbler, so it's difficult to change properly the water and the fertilizer becomes unbalanced and the ladies sick...

I use 160° LED and I built a large reflector to have an homogeneous lighting even when plants are closed to the LEDs.

Let's see the construction of the reflector.
I cut a parabolic shape in wood.

Then I folded a 2mm thick aluminium sheet, it was surprisingly hard to make. I had to use boiled water to heat up aluminium and an universal tool ... the hammer !

Then I sticked the LEDs on the reflector. There are 5 Golden Dragon W5AM, 2 warm and 3 cool. Perhaps they are not the best for this purpose but I had them on hand.

I hope you like it ! :dance013:

How did you get along with the buds touching the bulb?

I'm almost ready to start my 150w Rubbermaid grow... and I was wondering how far could I go with Vegging...

I don't want to have the buds getting to the bulb but I want maximal yield so I was wondering if I could just tie down the buds close to the light?

Thanks

One bud touched the bulb and get burned fortunately not deeply. The others approaching at 2 or 3 cm were healtly. But there is something special on my HPS reflector, I cut a hole to exhaust warm air directly from above the bulb, perhaps that helped.

Hi guys

Everything goes well.

All the seven cuts get roots under LEDs, I've only kept 4 of them because I don't need anymore.

We are at 42 flowering days, the ladies are less tall than previously but more dense.

wow! I like!

How many grams you think to harvest out of this?

Sincerely I don't know. Though the scrog filling is better than previously, I switched to 12/12 a little bit soon. Some days ago I noticed a strange PH variation, I found out later that the thermistance that keep the soup at 23°C was unplugged. Unfortunately the grow slowed down, so the harvest won't be optimal.

I've never speak of the genetic plant cause I don't know what it is exactly. The seed comes from an accidentally crossbreading between NorthernLight and Chronic at least 5 years ago. To have grow many of these seeds, I know that the one I used for this setup hasn't the best phenotype I ever meet.

Therefore with a modern genetic and an optimal run, I think this setup could harvest more than 150g.

HI :tiphat:

I harvested last week ! Unfortunately I smoke too much and I forgot to take pictures from last flowering days...

A portion of the harvest:

The overall harvest dried:

I got 586g wet and 141g dry. The buds size are pretty homogeneous and were easier to trim than before.

Coming soon some automatisation and electronic improvements in the cabinet.
