one suggestion though: the ballasts are a bit close together (keep 2 inched distance minimal!) and they seem to be catching the light too which could lead to overheating. A cool ballast is a happy ballast
Make sure you keep the lamp cords and power cords strictly separated as crossing or parallel wires can cause high frequency feedback into your ballasts.
nice clean setup

Thank you for sharing your show, how did you settle on the 1000s instead of the 600s? I am setting up right now and debating going with one overdriven 1000 or two 600s per 4'x6' or 5'x5' footprint.
The electrical work looks really good. Are you only going 4’ wide? Do you have any plans to see if you can stretch that out at all to 4.5’ or more?
I am along for the ride. Thanks for sharing.
hand watering?
Yep, that could be a cause. Be sure to keep mains cords and lamp cords separated as feedback will destroy your ballast, all machines are amplifiersIm curious Whazzup, Could this cause the ballast to burn out??? one of my ballasts burnt out the other day. The ballasts are mounted about an inch apart but have the ac blowing on them. All the cords are bundled together though. Could this be my problem??? They are pretty cool to the touch.
