1000watt Climate Controled "CAB"

MID TOWN

Active member
Alright.... well..... I set my whole system back up.

I was able to work out some problems, mostly....:cuss: and it looks like I might be able to pull off a couple more grows here so I'm gonna hope for the best and try to put on a good show.

It's basically the same system as last time. I changed the light configuration around but that's about it.

I left the "cab" that I built and sealed it up really good. I'll use that as a veg area so that I can TRY to get a harvest every 2 months.

It's a bit harder to get a good angle for pics with the cab in there but I did my best.

SIRSMOKEALOT- Always good to have ya along bro.

CALIGREEN- Sorry man I tottaly forgot to send out a notice to everyone. :bashhead: My fault! lol

Yep I'm deffinately gonna be stickin with coco for a while. The combination of ease of use and the results are right up there at the top.

No new spot. Just the same old one which I'm actually quite happy about.

NZJAY- Yea!!!! I :cuss: hate when that happens.

D ROCK- Thanks man. I think I have OCD or ADD or mabey both but I cant stand to have things dirty or unorganized. :nono:

OK WELL! my girls are yellowing quite badly. The only thing I can think of is that my nutes are bad and weather they are or not I'm switchin over to H&G cause I got their whole line up for free. Even though I love Botanicare I'm not sure that It's best for coco and I dont really have any money right now to new shit so I'm rollin with H&G Aqua Flakes.

Here's some pics. I just gave the girls a hair cut.

Look at these roots. :yoinks: I think I may want to transplant these into slightly bigger pots.

Hopefully the next update I can show some healthy flowering girls.

look at those roots man. i need to think about my next run. wnat buckets but damn that looks like way less trouble. lesspoints of failure and no chiller to run. lets see ... less power usage, no flood possibility, no leaks, no air pumps. i think i am sold. how do you feel the yeild is when factoring in container size. do you think 2+ lbs is possible with 8 bushes in 5 gal coco. that is my future target yeild and plant numbers, whether it be buckets or coco. i know buckets can pull that once dialed, but as you know from experience there is so many factors to smooth running grow. your success with coco keeps me rethinking my next move.
thanks bro and your plizz still look amazing.

NZJAY- YEA! I wasn't expecting to see THAT when I pulled her out of her pot. Deffinately a nice suprize!

HAZY- 5 gal may be a little big. lol. I think I'll just go with the 3gals that I used last time.

FRANKENBLUNT- thanks man!

D ROCK- Yep. I cant stand to have things dirty or unorganized!

SIRSMOKEALOT- Yea. Coco is the way to go. I certaintly wont be switching any time soon. As for the yeilds you seek, it should be no problem with those plant #s. The main things are gonna be wattage and veg time. :joint:

MK6-No problem bro. I'm only on my second coco run though so I may not be the best teacher.

Ok these pics are from yesterday which was day 1 flower

I transfered the girls into 3 gal pots and switched the nuts over to H&G.

PROBLEM- So.... Up until now if I PH'd my nute solution at 5.8 the runoff came out at 5.8 . But now that I'm using H&G, no matter what I PH my nutes at, the runoff comes out at 6.4 which is the exact same problem I had last time. :cuss:

Although last time I thought that it was a problem with the coco, I'm now starting to realise that it is a nute problem!

If anyone has any insight to this it would be greatly appreciated!

:fsu:

EVERYONE- thanks for stoppin in. I just feel too frusterated right now to write out personal responses. ARRGGHHHH!

maybe go run to waste and dont worry about it? 6.4 as a run off would be acceptable i would think. or maybe they need a flush. like run 3 days worth of clean phed water through them in a day and let them drain and dry and next day do a nute water and check ph @ runoff. maybe a buildup of some sort . other than reading up on this that is where i would start. flush and read. what nutes were you using b4 this prob.?... maybe see if pico can help with this. he has used mad nutes with coco. i bet he has something to add at least. that is who i would go to for consult in this matter. or gratefulhead i think is the other man on the subject i trust. best of luck bro.

im no help on this matter.. never run coco before...
but damn i hope ya get it sorted bro...
Sir is right, go PM gratefulh3ad or someone.. im sure you are not the first to experiance this anomoly.

why the change of nutes anyway?... im a firm believer in not fixing things that are not broken.
unless you had too.. which is very possible too.

hope ya can get it worked out though MT, best of luck mate.
