Springtails in PPK experiment..

Okay so I read a lot of the ppk threads and I decided to try out. Just a simple hand fed ppk with a 2 gallon smart pot fit into a net basket in a 5 gallon bucket. Wick is the typical sink tailpeice, screened MVP turface is the medium. I'm using dynagro foliage pro and protekt. I use tap water (~3-400 ppk) and GH powdered PH down. I have foliar sprayed with alfalfa tea once or twice. Bubba kush but not really the best pheno.

Now I noticed after a few weeks of veg that little white bugs were on the surface of the water in the bottom bucket..I looked it up and they are springtails.

After reading through a bunch of threads I'm not sure what to do. Some people say that springtails are good and help with eating decaying matter and some people say that they had springtails and they prevented them from getting good yeilds and healthy plants.

Any vets/pros got any input on what to do about these lil white guys?
