There doesn't seem to be a central threads for extraction solvent MSDS Sheets, so I thought I would start one with the elusive Lucienne butane MSDS sheet.

that newport msds doesnt give the numbers...its the same as colibri...22% propane

Seems none give percents. Best to stick to lab grade n-butane.

Has there been a MSDS given on the 'new' solvent being put out by ZHO? Have they posted one on the internet yet or are they still trying to sell a pig in a poke. Good time for them to come clean.

It's called MZ12X Organic Degreaser, the MSDS has been up for several days,

But as Kcar has pointed out, the MZ12X MSDS is top to bottom uniquely describing a great solvent, dimethyl ether, while stating the composition is a "Dichloromethane formula & Carbon Dioxide."

If it's just dimethyl ether and CO2, awesome, but if it contains other less desirable components like dichloromethane, it's probably not user friendly enough for most extractors.
