Autopots, coco & perlite - Mr. Nice medicine man

Very nice grow indeed, im currently considering either going DWC or Autopots and im starting to lean heavily against Autopots because Coco sounds really easy and the maintence aswell, im just a bit hesitant on the yield matter... im sure autopots will be able to give me as much as dwc if i do it well, but from what ive seen on forums DWC tends to yield more?

And by the way, what are the dimensions of the pots including the valve? And is that 8.5L or 15L pots? I couldnt find the information in your thread :)

Peace! Very impressive grow :)

Thx for the kind words SwedenGrow :)
I have run both dwc, soil, coco with drips and now autopots. I wouldn't hesitate choosing autopots if I were you. dwc might yield a little bit more, not sure, but autopots is much less work, less use of ferts and less maintenance. Since I'm a working class hero with an 8-4 job autopots suites my needs perfect.

I use the easy2growkit with 8.5 liter pots.

Day 28 in flower

PH 5.8
EC 1.6
temp 18-24 degrees
Humidity 45-55%

Fertilizer
2ml coco a + b per liter.
0.5 ml sensi cal + mag per liter
0.5 ml sensizym per liter
1 ml pk 13/14 per liter (first time today, will use for 2 weeks)

The girls seem to grow well and thrive still. Have not had any problems at all.

Otherwise, I have finally invested in a small microscope to check trichomes, and I got a little shocedk when I tested a dried bud from the last crop. All the heads of the trichomes were shining like crystal balls, with only a few milk-white cases.
I must therefore change my plan and let the girls flower in nine weeks instead of 8, and check trichomes in the last week to find the optimal flowering time this strain and my deal. On Mr Nice's website says MM listed with a flowering of 8-9 weeks.

Day 32 in flower

PH 5.8
EC 1.7
temp 22-27 degrees
Humidity 45-50%

Calyxes has started to swell and the plants are finished stretching. It is extremely loaded in the tent and a bit concerned about mold. Have managed to keep the relative humidity down to 45-50%. Considering removing some leaves to ensure the girls against mould.

Calyxes are swelling quickly now and odor has become stronger in recent days. Had to lower the EC from 1.7 to 1.6 due because of burnt tips

Day 40 in flower

Day 40 in flower

PH 5.8
EC 1.4
Temperature 24-30 degrees
humidity 40-55%

It has exploded in the tent and buds are swelingl and getting bigger every day. After I adjusted the EC to 1.6, the girls thrive. Absolutely no problem with auto pots so far. I must admit that I'm very happy with the system. Low maintenance, not dependent on electricity and inexpensive to operate when there is no fertilizer wasted.
I would really recommend autopots for beginners who want to test hydro. Very well suited for tents, since the pots are just about on the floor and one can use the entire tent height. And it's inexpensive!

A look under the microscope shows only crystal clear trichomes.

Last day of PK 13/14 yesterday.

Tthe end is approaching. Some fan leaves have started to turn yellow. Took a look under the microscope to check trichomes. Most are still crystal clear, but hope that they ripen on schedule. Starting flush on Tuesday and then 14 days with just ph adjusted water + some enzymes.

Has been some foxtailing on some buds, see pictures below. Girls still looking healthy and buds growing constantly. , Several branches that have become too heavy, has beed tied up the last few days.
