My monster plant turned out male/hermie.. argh

After initial problems I had with the grow, this plant was supposed to save my yield, but today (about a week into 12/12) I found what looks like male parts. They're only prominent on a few of the top branches.

Is this male or hermie?

Yep, so much for the yield saver.

I murdered him. Shook off most of the coco, gonna re-use it for tomatoes or peppers.

Males always show their sex first. I also grew out some willy nelson that after 4 months keeping them around, turned out to be real big boys. They were 7ft 9 when I cut them down.
