BTW: Eagle nests are Federally protected.

I was wondering if the seeds came up in the deer's stomach or if a flowering female branch was part of the nest, either way its like they have a little stuffed animal for the baby, very cute.

Once I watched a eagle or hawk dive on my neighbor's chickens. He ended up hitting a rooster and tried to fly away with it but mid air the rooster started kicking, it looked like one of those cartoon fights where it's a ball of smoke and you get a glimpse of each fighter except it was feathers not smoke. The rooster landed and just started dancing around on the ground and the raptor flew off.

once saw a snowy owl grab a barn cat, It did not end so well for the cat, being gutted on the roof of an old chevy.

Looks like the nest is a mix of branches and various annuals like corn, probably hemp and horseweed. Wonder what the highway patrol will say about that hemp, Iowa will arrest you for gathering hemp if they catch you.

This is the weather forecast over there, if you go back about 11 hours can on the feed you can see the plants
