Reason I'm askin'...thar's a few catz in Northern Orange County & Southern LA who have been rockin' tha "PK" since 'bout '96/'97, from what I've gathered, they say it stands for Pure Kush...&...is also known as tha Original OG Kush...<<< now this kinda confuses me but I won't get inta that now.

This PK/OGK that they have is a super lanky/stretchy plant that yields(usually) somethin' pitiful. It puts on Bubba-esque nuggets on a Sat dom structure...a six inch cut will stretch ta 3-5 feet if put straight inta flower.

What confuses me is...these guys have had this cut fer a decade now...with tha same name/s...and...it really doesn't look to much like yer "Pure Kush"...any clarification you can lend would be much appreciated.

Here's a leaf shot of tha 'PK'...one of its defining characteristics, as it's fairly unique...I can grab some 50 day flower shotz to if ya'd like ta see tha comparison ta yer PK.

All we can go by is what is documented in these threads, right? In the "A Spot For Me Mums" thread on page 2, June of this year, Suge chimed in to let dude know that he had PK/Lep S1's & PKSD, not the PK Clone. Dude continued to mislead/insist that it was indeed Suge's PK cut. This went on for a while then I chimed in and got flamed cuz I told him that I don't think he has Suge's PK cut but the PK/Lep S1's and it came out again. Where is the confusion?

The clubs have always had real deal cuts, but only from time to time, never on a consistant basis. Why? Cuz they take cuts from so many various sources its hard to maintain consistancy. Often times by the time a difference is noticed its already been spread like HIV!LOL. See what happened with the PK/Lep S1, I wonder how many of those are in circulation only being labeled PK? Anyways I've donated many many cuts of exceptional authentic strains, I just don't make it a point to talk about it. Some of us just walk the walk. Although it maybe state legal you should never forget who's the big boss and making my felonies transparent to the world is not my idea of intelligent behavior.

I will know more in the next 3-4 months. I'm confident, i'll be able to contribute some kind of positive info on this....I have his Purple Kush as well.
I just picked up a new Purple Kush also that is supposed to be BOMB, so that will be compared as well.
The Pure Kush looks interesting. One is still waiting to root, and i've had it in the dome since getting it back for over 10 days now. The other is on it's way, and growing healthy.
If swerve believes it's Pure Kush then it might be. He is smoking the best right now. He should know. He told me through PM that the story was changed by Suge later on, to sell seeds of the Leapord PK...who knows..maybe Suge is pissed and won't admit he sent him the real deal, maybe Suge believes that Swerve only got the Leapord Kush. Swerve has stated that He knows the difference and he has it for sure. He claims the Leapord PK is different.
I think it's important enough since I love the Pure Kush, but not important enough to argu eabout all day long. When I know more, i'll contribute.

In late '96 Mike sold some seed to some guys in the Valley. That's where the San Fernando Valley cut of OG comes from. It's like the Original only more sat in pheno type. Mike sold a cut of the original to a guy in Orange county and that cut is called Larry today. It's still around Orange county. Mike sent one other cut of the original OG to a breeder in Europe. As far as I know he never let anyone else have it.
Jerry bred his Chem Dog cut to a Humboldt county indica boy. This was the beginning of his cubing proccess. At BX3 he got a pheno that had all the smell, taste and kick of the Chem Dog, but in a pure indica pheno. Jerry gave this plant to Bob. It became known as the West Coast Dog.
Bob bred this plant to my Old World Kush male. He took a male from that cross and bred it to the OG cut Putz had sent him. This is what made the original Bubba Kush.

Wick~ I, personally, can understand a bit of "flip flopping"...as I've dealt with plenty of that 'round tha ET over tha years...it stems from cuts/seeds/etc. being 1/2/3 people removed from tha original source...and...if ya don't ask tha right ?'s it becomes difficult ta get a clear answer as ta what ya have.

Granted, I'm also a huge 'skeptic' when it comes ta any grandiose claims...my initial impression (based on Suge's Pure Kush pics) was that Pure Kush was merely a Bubba Kush hybrid...but...in all honesty, who am I to say as I've never grown tha particular cut and have no basis of comparison aside from tha pics.

I do have most of tha old CW/OG Pure Kush debates/debacles archived...for reference purposes if ya will...and...perhaps, in tha future maybe tha true history of all these Kushes will unfold & be told...

...fer now though, I should really keep my 'impressions' ta myself...rather than blurtin' what I 'think'.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before (at least not on tha open boards)...but...my entire interest in tha Kushes/ChemDawgs stems from tha fact that I grew this 'cut' that was simply known as Uria from '94-'02...Uria came from Southern Oregon...and...was/is also believed ta be a hybrid of a 'No Name' cut, from Seattle, that my folks grew from '84-'94...tha No Name cut was speculated to be an F1 hybrid of JuicyFruit/Lemon Thai & an Indica/Kush/Ruderalis...

...anywayz, my point is...if you were to cross Suge Nite's Pure Kush with blue dog's Triangle Kush...that is Uria...

Uria had tha stems/structure/look of blue dog's TK but tha leaves of Suge's PK (which are very similar to Bubba Kush leaves from tha looks of it)...and...fer tha better part of ten years Uria was tha best of tha best round here...'til I lost her.

So far...tha closest thing I've grown ta Uria is tha ChemDawg & tha SoCal PK...

With that said...how 'bout some o' those "PK" pics I promised...please excuse tha poor quality...as these were taken at a friends place that I caregive for...and...tha 5x8 Scrog doesn't make fer eazy picture takin's.
