so as i was saying in my other thread i decided to start a breeding project. a few strains to start but will be building my genetic collection over the next year.

the room:

11x9
3kw (1 mh, 2 hps)

the genetics:

purple kush
Pure Power Plant
Super Lemon Haze
Og Kush
sour cream
diesel(NYCD mom x unknown male)
hashberry

the grow style:

in soil 14" 7 gal pots
natural, no pruning/toping...nothing
pure organic soil water only

i will be looking for a male in my diesel and hopefully hashberry as i had a really nice hashberry male in the past s
that just rieked

notice the deformations on the PPP....all the PPP are like this, i figure its genetic because all the rest ar nice

and the shortest one is purple kush

they just got a fresh watering so thats why some of the leaves look a bit droopy

I would love to get my hands on some of the crosses these are going to produce. You said you wanted to send some into the bay if I remember correctly, right? I bought the SD IBL from rez on the last drop, and all of them either hermied or turned male on me. I really need some serious diesel in my garden. Got the SSSDH S1s going right now, so hopefully I find something good in the three females I got. KEep it green brother.

ok, seeds were planted on dec 15....decided to flower them this weekend :dance013:

so about 3-4 weeks from seed? almost 4

most were transplanted, ran out of dirt so ill be going back this week to get more and finish the job...also have a few other clones to bring in for flowering in the "seed factory" room

i added a 1kw hps for flowering, was gonna add 2 but the heat is a lil too much so one will do for now, so a total of 2kw for flowering....

update

here they are, jan 10, decided to go with 2 1kw lights instead of 3, easier to manage the heat, right now theres 1kw of each MH and HPS, spread out the lights

one PPP that was all deformed in the begining is stilll producing wierd leaves, this one is 2 leaves in one stem, lol

another PPP has showed its sex(MALE) and also has started producing mature nodes (where the nodes are no longer grow paralell of each other)

well just a few more pics, excited how everything is doing so well, i also removed the purple kush, after thinking about it i thought it would be better to keep her and make clones to breed with as i only have one Pk plant, so i will keep her as a mother.

i also brought up my sour cream momma to the breeding room

put it all on 12/12 yesterday...the room is filling up pretty fast so id like to find some males soon and sort through them, so far out of all the plants the PPP male was the first to show maturity and sex, not much smell to him, but he migh be special, ill have to let things go and see, either way i plan to hav no more that one male of each

Oh man joe, I am stoked to see what comes of this. Going to have some pretty amazing crosses in here. I am actually going to be moving within the next 4-5 months. The fiancé and I are looking for a spot now, and luckily got the green light to be able to take over the whole basement at this next place, so my play area is going to triple if not quadruple in size.

Looking great brother.

OK EXACTLY ONE WEEK INTO 12/12(DAY 7)

heres a few shots, check out the males, specificly the PPP male who is far more advanced compared to the rest...

as for the diesel males, you can see that some of them are more "branchy" and others more "single stalk"...in the end smell will be the deciding factor on which diesel male i choose, but im not sure which would be better between the branchy one or the singles talk

heres the females i got to breed with...im thinking of numbering them all and pollinating selected ones with different pollen from different males, this way out of one breeding project i would get a wider genetic diversity
