Hey ICmag!




I opened this thread in order to create a place on this site
where everybody can ask a short question concerning growing.





During our work there are moments, where it gets to small issues that have to be solved quick.


In many cases it is just a short question concerning some
special value, preferences for electronic devices, a chart, etc.
that is not worth opening an own thread for it.




for example:
"cloner on 24/7, or cycle 10/10mins?"
"is it okay to let coco-coir dry out?"
"how long is pollen storeable in the fridge?"
"questions about forum functions"
"how much peroxide into my aerosystem?"
"how much gsc´s to put under 600w doin SOG?"
...and so on....





the thread is a attempt to drain all fast check-off questions to one point.




this kind of thread has been prooved to be quite fancied in another IC language-subforum

btw.: if we could get managed that most of us check in this thread on a daily basis,
it should be plenty enough to almost mount this thread like kind of "realtime-helpchat"

...i will give it a go:

Who can equip me with some informations about a "ballast switch"???
-it has probably another name, websearch wasnt successful so far^^

...but they are used to switch the power of one room to another within a 12-hour cycle.
with this method you only need to buy ballasts for one of the rooms and avoid voltage peaks.


Would be nice to get some infos about disadvantages, manufacturers, thread-links, experiences, proper installation advices - everything that could be usefull for someone who not more than heard about it...

called a flip flop. or flip box.. check the DIY area if u don't wana spend a ton of money on some cheap relays.. u can make the same 400 dollar 4 ballast to 8 light flip flop for half the price the most..

its exactly wat im waiting to buy asap..

ya from wat ive been searching .. DIY FLIP FLOPS are easy to make.. ..NP.. that's wat this community is for man.. helping .. and learning. and teaching one another.

Hey folks!

Who has experience in the use of those
Ozone generators for aquarium???

I asked myself if those are suitable for desinfect my nutrient solution in the res ???
-Does the O³ affect the ph? Or any other issues with it?

...if suitable for our purposes it would be great to keep the tank bakteria-free...
