What safety concerns?1. Perhaps, but there are safety concerns when using oil in the roto bath
Oh that's easy, but how is that different from rotovaping ground weed in boiling water bath? Should be even better. How do I find the thread you mentioned?Sous Vide, and you decarb before you do your extraction. You'll want to read what Ringdoggie has posted on the subject. Great read, awesome info, unless you're more about wasting cannabis extract due to lower potency?
Why? Is it because THC is lighter than THC-A by a co2?Extractions are more efficient if you decarb prior.
Boiling ground weed in water? Is this even a thing? Did you want to preserve terpenes and use waaay less extract for dosing, or did you want lower quality extract like you find everywhere?Oh that's easy, but how is that different from rotovaping ground weed in boiling water bath? Is this a solubility issue?
The water bath of the rotovap, which is outside of the flask, just like the water in sous vide, outside the bag.Boiling ground weed in water? Is this even a thing? Sous Vide preserves the terpenes so they're extracted with the cannabinoids, the cannabis is NOT exposed to the water at all. Massive difference in potency. (Search Sous Vide)

You've already done the extraction, so no. Sous vide is done before the extraction. Like I said, look up and read everything on Ringdoggie since we're re-hashing the existing thread information. The water bath of the rotovap, which is outside of the flask, just like the water in sous vide, outside the bag.
Read the whole thread it's only 2 pages, and you'll see the question was different, I just pointed out anything in sous vide could be done better in a rotovap, I mean in connection with cannabis. And if you have done sous vide, try it for food, it's really good, I used it for infusing butter too, a long time ago.Yes, I'm well aware of what a rotovap is. **facepalm**
If they're doing scale like you suggest, they should easily have the skills to look up and use commercial equipment to do the same task the kitchen equipment does.
And just to be clear: you were thinking I'm going to put weed in water and into a rotovap... sent me a presentation about how to google. I should be the one "facepalming", but no smiley by that name here, and also I'm not that kind of person.Yes, I'm well aware of what a rotovap is. **facepalm**

THC is more soluble.
