Last shot of one of our herb patches....going to make Tabbouleh tonight! Snow headed this way!
MEATLESS MONDAY
Tabbouleh and Delicata squash casserole, pumpkin soup. Mmmmm!
Haven’t grown enough parsley to know if that’s unusual, but 16 degrees is impressive regardless. Herbs in general always seem to have a percentage that will survive beyond other types of plants. Probably will make the parsley more interesting or complex taste wise, maybe not.
Hit 25 here last night, as cold as it had gotten in the six years at this location in the foothills, usually 26-28 is the winter low.
Covered up some recently planted avocados with frost cloth, hoping to make an 8x8’ hedge of them that gets covered over winter, pretty borderline situation but worth a shot.
