@RoyalFlush ,can I ask why u trashed ur nl5s?,thought they were pure nl5 from Mel?,iv 3 females but I m like u,if there not pure I don't want them,iv lots other nl lines to be getting on with too.all the best,76

I bought those seeds off a guy on IG. He claimed they were pure, but my experience with the 89NL5 told me otherwise. Long story short, they were different.

So where does Peak Seeds BC Northern Lights come in? Apparently they inbred the line for over 10 years.

Hemp depot has 89NL5 listed under A Special Selection.

I've been tempted to grab a pack. Says they have zero stretch. Which is what I want for a sea of green plant.

I have no idea if it's legit or not or if it's already been mentioned here.

i made clones from the two female i got
from the dr atomic f2’s
they both look similar they sure look like nl

i just sprayed sts on one of the clones

and will try to reproduce them

I ran a few of those out a while back. They lean more towards R1 than #5, Very different than the F5 Mel dropped.

They look a little stretchier than I expected. I was looking more for something like deep chunk.

It's the f5s from Mel iv got,down to the last few,got a few fems,looking for a male now,be sexing another 1 or 2 in a few weeks,soon as I get a male ill make f6s.not much stretch in these,as it should be,76

I have no idea about Joti's. I've only read that his version is nothing special, with a good chance of herms.


ASS's () 89NL5 doesn't stretch much in veg, nor in flower. It's not as compact as DC but it's also not a stretcher.

Appreciate that. Maybe I'll scrap the joti ones I have and grab the other ones.

I grew Jordan's blueberry and it was a nightmare.
