I decided to flush the window planter and reservoir to get an idea of what's going on in the planter.

The reservoir was down to less than half of what I originally had, and was reading 600 PPM at PH 6.25

I dumped the reservoir and mixed up 2 liters of solution with RO water, and a ¼ tsp each of Maxigro, CalMag, and Potassium Silicate solution.
The solution was reading 487 PPM at PH 4.20

After pouring the solution through the planter, the runoff in the reservoir was reading 1125 PPM at PH 5.75

I poured 1 liter of straight RO water through to bring the PPM down in the media, then the total runoff was reading 1105 PPM at PH 5.78

So, it looks like using RO water for my nute solution and not adjusting the PH, works just about right.

I'll water with just RO water for a week or two then flush everything again to see what the numbers are.

I figure that I've mostly got evaporation going on with very little transpiration so the PPM is rising, and the PH is rising because of the plants and perhaps because of the springtails munching on all the dead roots from the last plant.

I turned up the 5000k strips to bring the LUX up to about 12,000.
The lights are now on 18/6.

I had about a ½ liter of solution left in the reservoir.
It was reading 734 PPM at 6.03 PH.
I thew it out and mixed up 2 liters of fresh stuff at 473 PPM and 4.35 PH.

I poured it through from the top followed by a liter of plain RO water and the run off was 1037 PPM at 5.74 PH.

She is 15 days old today,..

My window plants were running low on juice too, so I measured the reservoir and got 1483 PPM at 5.84 PH.
I added about 2 liters of straight RO water from the top and checked the reservoir with the runoff mixed in and got 1043 PPM at PH 5.90

I've got roots growing into the reservoir again.
They look nice and healthy.

The media was completely wet before I added the RO water and the plants look fine, so I guess the plants and their roots are old enough and big enough to deal with wet media.

Some of the leaves are all wrinkled up and I don't know happened here, but I'm not going to worry about it.
I'm just going to LITFA.
