nice! just got a shipping notice for another set of titanium handlebars! i have one set at the anodizers waiting to get done,so this will be 4 titanium handlebars now...i was surprised how big a difference they make in ride comfort...space metal really damps the harsh...I was right. Shoveling the driveway is a waste of time. Bare gravel behind the cars and 4 foot drifts for 30 feet next to the cars.
So much for the weather report. It is 13 out with a projected low of 18.

well that was...fun?as predicted,it was full on wallyworld madness...there were two other bikes on the rack when i got out of the store,i thought i was the only one dumb enough!
a good,if brief test of the new riding clothes though,gave me a good idea how cold of temps they can deal with...turns out people in alaska know how to make cold weather gear...go figure
looks like the temps in the led room and workshop stayed pretty warm all things considered...need to check the main flower room later but considering winter is over here in 2-3 weeks i should be good...
Supposed to get down to 14F tonight. I know I know, that’s not that cold compared to where most of you guys are from. But this is South Carolina for gods sake!

yeah,it hit -9 here once,you couldn't find copper pipe the next day...lots of burst pipes...had one here....i have an oil filled radiator dealy in the kitchen now...

VP run your water at a light trickle to keep the pipes from freezing. The water from the ground is like 45-55 degrees and will warm the pipes as it flows thru them. And that will keep them from freezing.

I dont think its that cold. I like it 25 to work in. I can wear a tee shirt and not break a sweat. So I guess it is a tiny bump.what's that on the witch's tit scale?
2 F here at moment, gonna get down to zilch, back up to 4 F or so by dawn. local weather site says -18 F with wind chill. glad i moved my woodpile inside the fence...
I am lucky I am next to the big lake or it would be a lot colder. Only draw back is the lake is causing it to snow quite a bit. But with the wind it is not sticking around. Just making for a good white out.
