I never heard that before.NightFire said:It's true that McCain does not support MJ, in any way, but he has said he will not allow raids for people using MJ in states that have passed laws for it to be used.

Who is that guy?
Since we're talking about the presidency, politics is a given. I find it... silly... to assume constitutionalists and libertarians are somehow immune to standard Washington politics, just because of their beliefs. Even the venerable Ron Paul is a politician, after all -- that is his job description! And politicians advance their "agendas", as you put it, through politics, and nothing else.thinman said:what we really need in the white house is a strict constitutionalist and libertarian----neither of these two butt-wadds even know what they are.
First of all, let's not pretend there's a clearly drawn line between the capitalism and socialism ideals. The last time I checked, you already do pay more, if you're in a higher tax bracket, regardless of who is in office. If you want to accuse Obama of socialism for that, then you should do the same for the other 4 candidates, including the constitution and libertarian party candidates. I've never heard anyone besides Ron Paul talk of repealing income tax brackets.NightFire said:Obama wants everyone to be equal. Sorry, we live in America... we are a capitalist country, not socialist. I do not want to have to pay more fed income tax so some scum that refuses to support his family can get free medical care.
