My ISP blockd this site and seedbay and boutique

I am now really paranoid about it, why would they block just those sites?

I am here through a proxy, and I shoulda never not been.

Do I need to worry about getting busted now?

I am kinda freaking out over it. I am really tempted to scrap my whole grow.

Ive encountered filtering on some Wi-Fi signals from corporate eateries and with on-campus signals...but never over a normal isp.

its just those site, and coincidentally those are the only sites I visit related to weed.

other pot related sites come up fine, so that is what has me really uncomfortable about it

every filtering i have always encountered on a network says "this page is unavailable for this reason..." and states like pornography, illegal drugs, etc.

granted that was always at work/school, and no i wasnt browsing porn at work, the filters filtered some stuff it shouldnt have...

every browser I try says it can't find the server basically

That I can get here through a proxy says something is up to me

I doubt your ISP wants to explain why it's filtering your data.

It would be really cool if you named which ISP you are dealing with (Comcast and AT&T are already suspect, in my book.)

I live in the middle of no where, and there is only one ISP in town, if I named it I would be telling everyone where I live.

They can't give more than a 'tip' to police without the police getting a subpoena first. The ISP could possibly tell the local authorities that you were visiting a website about marijuana, but that alone would not give them probable cause to come bust in your door.

I don't blame you for being paranoid. It's better safe than sorry.

Hey mexilandrace maybe try some xxx sites, it could be your ISP is blocking anything it might consider "adult Content".
..or you could download crap cleaner from download.com, then clear your cookies, cache, temp files and check your registry, its a small file and easy to use.

Might just be a DNS block - you can add the addresses to your host file with the correct IPs or use a different DNS server

I'm assuming that it's your computer and not your ISP. When you take into account at the stuff people look at online, weed websites come out looking like saints. If you really feel up to it, you can use a friend's computer on your internet connection or boot a liveCD from your computer to check the internet out.

nah its not my computer, I plugged in my old computer to check it out, and its the same thing, someone decided they don't want me on these sites. Brought my dad's laptop over here and its the same thing.

Its okay I can proxy, though I can't seem to get to some of the site now, but its cool.

I moved my plants to the only person I can trust, so its all good now.

shit man the same thing is happening to me! I try to connect and it tells me the server is down. I'm on now through a proxy for the first time and I'm paranoid as shit.

If you got paranoid and moved your plants because you can't log on to this site you probably don't need to be growing. Do you think the Feds have "eyed" you and asked your internet provider to block this site? Your story doesn't make any sense. If you brought your fathers laptop to your house it wouldn't even be the same connection. Your dads would be running off his own wireless connection.

Have you tried wrapping your house in tin foil just to be safe?

This doesn't really make any sense. The only way this would happen is if the laptop has one of those wireless broadband deals. Chances are, it just has a wireless card and probably regular rj45 ethernet port. This would mean that the laptop is using the same internet connection as mexilandrance's other computer(s). This is either through a router/switch or just straight from the cable/dsl modem(I'm assuming cable/dsl here). It doesn't matter what is connected. I'd be paranoid too.
