i dont think i ever took a picture of my product finished stacked up like that...

i use drying screens ...3 feet wide by 8 feet long....i will put the weed about 4-6 inches thick on these screens...my one place had 34 screens teehee an entire small cabin dedicated to drying

but ya each screen would hold 2-2.5 lbs

the picture you show me at MOST might be 3 screens....and that is at most

i will take a picture next crop of what 10 lbs looks like....i would need something 3 feet wide by 8 feet long and about 2 1/2 feet thick

yer pile is about 3 feet by 3 feet by maybe 2 feet tall...since it is shaped with a point:/

the numbers are fucked....plus you use 3,000 watts to mother/clone...sorry but you gotta add that into yer math....imho you didnt get more then 1-1.5 lbs per 1000 watt ....

i will show you what 10 lbs dried looks like.....myself i KNOW what the volume of it would look like....and unless your girlfreind in the picture is a 7 foot giant and wieghts 350 lbs....well....you get picture...

i got a buddy cropping off in 3 weeks...he ussually pulls off 20-30 lbs (KBS method) i will see if he lets me take a picture of his shit dried out...i am sure he wont mind...

also what was the bottom line truely....you had how many lights in total???

cause it would be unfair to compare systems if you dont use al the numbers...hence why i dont trust yas all that well because you only took the numbers from whatever things did good for you...

you said you ussed 3000 watt lights in one chamber...and was it
3000 watts again in the other chamber but with 600 watters maybe...i was unclear to this....plus you ussed 3000 watts to grow the clones needed to do this...

all this has to be taken in....with myself i tend to pre grow either under floro tubes (where i clone) or in some cases i iwll use a 400 watt MH or 600 HPS to pre grow...so we could add those into calculations...but truely when you have to make up 600 clones i think you said....then obviously you have to use those lights as part of yer bottom line...

even if you got 15 lbs from the two chambers...which i highly doubt you got...but fine lets give you 15 lbs....yer still looking at most 1.7 lbs per 1000 watts.....

for yer time/energy/money/risk factor was it werth it?? no

also to help out yer numbers my cycle would take about 9 weeks of budding and 2-3 weeks of veg....so 12 weeks in total...

i cant remeber what yer time factor was in this particular set up but i would imagine since you said 18 days of veg (or i think i remeber you saying you should have turned them at 15 and went to long...but i am going off memory and not looking at yer page) and i would gather to create large buds of that nature you would need 8 weeks of bud....with the amount of clonning you have to go thru in this case you have to add that time in there too....so yer right around the same time as KBS......

again...the amount of bullshit you gotta go thru to do this....is off the wall...and i still dont think you touch even 70% of what i am telling folks they shoudl be able to reach easily

also would like to know costs...

I highly recommend you read that coli thread...I know it's long, but push that filter button to save you a shit load of time!! You might even get a lil more aquainted me But just to wrap it up in a nut shell here for ya...I used 3000w to veg out some clones for about 2 weeks or so...took about 700 or so clips to be safe...once the first 300 rooted...I slapped em in the 5 600w coli...vegged em for like 4-5days or so and flipped em back...I was unfamiliar wit this coliseum, so at the time I didn't know I let em veg for too long...I knew the nature of my plants, but I never would of thought they would grow out of control!! Now the next 300 that I had ready went into the 3000w (all 1000) the day I flipped the 600w coli back...no veg! Well to make a long story short...the 1000w coli finished perfectly!! A lil heat stressed but other than that...I got some fatties out of there...now the 600w coli on the other hand...grew right into the dam lights!! Never got to get the final results to that one, because they burtn to shit!! Now if I was only showing the good stuff I would have never included the fucked up 600w...check the thread...I didn't hold anything back!! Just as I said to you before...if I make a mistake...I ain't too proud and wrapped up in myself to hide it!! I'll share the bad along wit the good!! But in a nut shell...I got a lil over 10 Bows from that 3000w (all 1000w) coli...I don't think it's fair to include my veg watts since this doesn't even fall in the category of flowering...but you are right about the time it took to finish up this just about matches the KBS Lets break the numbers down, so we can make some sense of this unbelievable 10 pounder...

16oz x 10L=160oz's

160oz x 28g=4480g

4480g / 300plants=14.93g per plant

Can you atleast give me credit for achieving 14g per plant?? Not too unbelievable in my eyes...you?? They all varied from high 20's to low 20's...some wasn't even worth a shit, cuz of over shaded...so the bottom line I averaged almost 15g per hole...and the cold part abou this was, I was expecting atleast 1oz per hole!! Now just because I thought I was gonna get 28g a hole...which would of put me at about 18.75 L's...now that I can see being a lil bit of bullshit if I had said that...but nope, I kept it real and admitted to only a lil under 15g per...do I have a smidget of a possiblity in your eyes now that, that was 10 L's even tho the pic didn't look like it to you?? You know pics could be decieving sometimes

Dam things were pretty expensive...I forget off top, but I wanna say about 2500us or so...Your absolutely right about the set up cost...5 buckets are WAYYY more economical than these thingy's, but again, I grow for pure fun and curiosity...this might cost me a arm and a leg by the time I get done wit this hobby

so far yer pictures are doing what i think they would....sweet looking plants...BUT its when the plants are sitting at say 1/2 there bud size that the other things i mentioned come into effect...

if you look at these pix you will see sweet looking plants..BUT they are less then 50% what they should be....(these pix were taken last night)




now your strain (the one ussed in the coli) is superior to the strain in these pictures...this strain is XXX and something that needs to be excluded/tossed .....just with bad luck it seemed to end up in this particular place...

but most noobs would cream over these pix....myself it makes me sick and truely breaks my heart....cause it was a complete failure....even the guy who grew this fully agrees:/

if you go to that other thread i post in it will show why n stuff....but this guy also felt he was doing good but as i think will happen with you....half way thru problems going to arise...

i dont care what people think...BOTTOME LINE is how many AMPS you pull from yer power source/eletrical panel....

i dont want to hear about this or that excuse...BOTTOM LINE...cause if i go to one of my grow rooms there is some buckets that do good...some that do bad...some get more light...some get less...hell some buckets will get 1.5 lbs...others 4 lbs.....and if i went by plant wieght well....obviously this system is superior...

the reason for this is because in most peoples cases they worry about power....only people who scoop power might not care...but even if you scoop power you still cant take too much...and you want the best bang for yer buck..(and i FULLY think scooping power is lame..pay the bills you cheap fucks)

and you are promoting a system (the coli) that is intended to amke people money/grow commerically...if you want to state this system is for people who want to play arround in a hobby and waste money and also risk there asses with 1200 plants...do so...but as long as you make this system look useable i will show the honesty/bottom line

i still look at that pile you got...and i cant see it beeing 10 lbs....( i will show you what 10 lbs to me looks like...and you will admit huge difference) but who cares...give yas the 10 lbs....and like you got shitty in other one....i saw no mention of how much you got in other one (why i say you only post the good results) or did you get absolutley NOTHING from this other unit??? cause that speaks louder then anything....even if you fuck up with my buckets you still get a pound per light.....

anyhoo your sitting at 9000 watts still in my opinion...that is what yer meter would have told me when you did this cycle/crop.....and as i said before...bottom line yer less then half of what i can reach (less then 1/3rd if you got NOTHING form second unit)....and you spent probably 3 times as much to set up:/

THIS IS how it works....but even with yer nice persona you gotta take the kilowatts ussed...calculate the lbs you got...and the bottom number.....not "well this died so we dont count this....and this is veg so we dont count this"

i also like to mention the amount of space you use to set this thing up....if you did this at a level where you wanted to make cash (why else would you buy these micky mouse systems/grow 600 plants...well 1200 plants when you think you are pre growwing the clones) i cant see this beeing somones hobby .....give me a break....you smoke 10 lbs of weed every 2 months??? okies ...oh ya point....the amount of space this system usses is fucked up.....the amount of time to set this up and place all the clones and clean up the system between crops....what a nightmare....

again....i am beeing fair...BOTTOM LINE is what matters most....so far 9,000 watts....10 lbs...that is 1.1 lbs ...in my world that is a compelte failure....espeically when yer going to court and the crown is about to tell the judge you were caught with 1200 plants....aint beeing ballsy or cool or fun with this system...its fucking beeing dumb and risking yer life.
