Transporting in a vehicle.

Hello every one. I have a question that i would like to hear some opinions on. Sometimes i have to transport a QP or so in my car. I know this is very risky and i try to limit the risk as much as possible. The main thing i would like to know is if there is any way of sealing the pot that makes in harder for odors to get out and fill the car.
Say i wanted to transport a couple onces of AK-47 in my car and i didn't want it stinking my car to high heaven.... any ideas? I've never experimented with any solutions because i've never really messed with high odor strains. Would tupperware work? How about sealing it in thick plastic with one of those machines that sucks the air out? I would like to avoid glass jars if at all possible because they are harder to conceal... but so would tupperware.
Any experience with this problem anyone?

You can use oven bags they keep the smell in really well ... tuppareware and jars also work .

Two words: Vacuum Seal
No need to crush the buds if done correctly. Once sealed, wash the bags under soap and water to remove any smells from the outside and there is no trace of smell whatsoever.

sweet, i was thinking that might work. They also have accessories you can purchase with those machines to suck the air out of jars which gives your bud a longer shelf life...if i'm not mistaken. Thanks alot... i think thats the way i'm going to go.

The most important thing you can do is stash it inside a locked tool box in your trunk. Cops won't search the tool box if it is locked and stored in your trunk without a warrant. This is the most important step. Don't forget this. I can't stress this point enough. If the cops do search the box and find your stash and they don't have a warrant the judge has to dismiss the case. Plain and simple.

Yeah I would vaccum seal and do what Cannabisourus said. He is right about needing a warrant to open a locked box.

Doesnt really makes sense that they need a warrant to open a locked tool box but not to open a locked car trunk just my .02.... and how bout those tool boxes in the back of pickups ??

Good post Rackateer... thanks for the info. It is kinda depressing though... since its basically saying that if you are planning on driving away that they can easily search your car....all they gotta do is bring the dogs out.
I don't know about the whole locked box in the trunk thing. I don't want to spark their curiousity and give them a focal point...they arnt getting in my trunk with out a warrant anyways. I'm thinking that if i give them absolutely no reason to search the vehicle, for example... having rolling papers laying out or the smell of smoke in my car.... then i should have every reason in the world to deny a search if the cop request one. I mean, they really need to suspect drugs before they call in a freakin drug dog.
Here is my plan. Vacuum Seal the buds.... place them inside some socks and place them in the middle of a dirty hamper of clothes and set them in the back seat of my car with some soap and dryer sheets on top to make it look real. Oh and definitely have some dirty underwear and socks on top to make it less appealing to rummage through.:sasmokin:
My goal is the have my friend create a small false compartment in my vehicle. The bottom line is that if they bring out the dogs... they are gonna find it no matter where i hide it.... but unless they get a warrant they arnt searching my car period. I will be polite but make it clear that i am a law abiding citizen and don't appreciate being treated like a criminal for no good reason! :jerkit:

basically, if your NEAR your car, it can be searched. do not transport drugs in your car, its stuipid. if you choose to, vacuum pack 2x with coffee between the last bag and the first. lock this in trunk; enclosed in a bag or toolbox as someone said earlier.

For a distributor it is almost impossible not to transport your product in a car... its safer than selling directly out of your house. I never drive further than 20-30 mns. First they have to pull me over and in order for that to happen i have to be doing something stupid...some kind of violation. Then they have to SUSPECT drugs... then they have to obtain a warrant. The warrant might not be that hard but i'll take my chances with the first two. Out of my many years of driving i've only been pulled over twice and that was because i was driving way over the speed limit cause i didn't give a crap if i got pulled over or not.

I would think a locked suitcase in a truck with the pot vac sealed well is about it then unless you get very creative. If you have an auto service garage handy you can have the pot placed in the spare tire which is very difficult to check.

I have also heard of hiding small amounts in funny places but when you are on the road it is probably best to try and keep it under 2 oz in most states. Watch out if on what is considered a trafficking route as they have even more search powers on those roads somehow.

Mailing your stash ahead is safer if you have someone willing to recieve it but that causes them some risk. So be careful and use your head. A problem on the road could lead to even more troubles down the road for you if you grow. My advice is to watch out for smoking when driving because cops can smell pot before they even pull you over from their car. Did you realize that? BOG

Stay safe and arrange to have some stash to buy at your destination. It is often easier and safer to have very little. Just enough to stay medicated.

...vacuum sealed and bolted inside the rear bumper.......for safe passage of your personnal stash........if they are going to take your whole car apart....part by part then they will find whatever anyway......

For a "marijuana vendor" it is almost impossible not to transport your product in a car... its safer than dealing directly out of your house. I never drive farther than 20-30 mns. First they have to pull me over and in order for that to happen i have to be doing something stupid...some kind of violation. Then they have to SUSPECT drugs... then they have to obtain a warrant. not to piss on your party, but i hate to be the ex law student to break it to you, but....you car is not protected under the constitution. you don't have to be pulled over to be searched, you can simply be in the vicinity of your car and it will then be subject to search. if you are in a neighborhood with a lot of drug activity such as any urban area, or any suburban for that matter area, you are subject to search at any time without warrant or probable cause. if the officer believes for any reason that you could be engaging in illegal enterprise, you will be searched. however, you can beat the charges. it will take a jury trial, and any competent (sp?) lawyer. the cost of a jury trial fyi starts at about 25000. if you have to beat a charge like what you could face for transporting marijuana in your car, and possibly engaged in selling. you would have to have expert witnesses, and also hire PI to tear the reputation of the officer to pieces if you want to win. this can all be done, but get your wallet out, expect a final bill of 50000 for your legal services, and you can kiss at least 10000 away to the bail bondsman as well. your car will be seized either way, and you will not get it back even if you win.

if you going to be dealing, i would suggest a sport bike instead of a car so that if you get a bad feeling or the 50 roll up behind you, you can simply roll on the throttle, head for the nearest highway and SEE YAH!

other than that, you fucked if you get pulled over and the officer has any suspicion. odor, being nervous, wrong area, and ANY traffic violation are cause for search of a vehicle in this stupid country. with that, you can expect to be pat down for "weapons", which by the way includes them feeling something could be drugs, they will check it.

if you want to read over some briefs I've written on the subject, i'd be happy to email them to you so you get the idea more. either way, i would schedule a conference with a lawyer to go over your rights while in a vehicle if you don't believe what i say.

the right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure does not apply to anything other than your home. not your place of business, not your person (frisk), and certainly not your car.

i hate to say it, but its how it is now.

SuperToke,a little more info, being in the wrong part of town IS not grounds for your vehicle to be searched, neither is being nervous,as a matter of FACT I have the right to barely roll my window down and demand to see the officers credentials,if you are clean and have done nothing wrong, they cannot just search your vehicle, they may ask,but one can and i have said NO!Plain and simple,Have a straight bud drive, clean license, perfect legal car, vaclok bag in trunk,Untouchable!Say no to a search request, they still need reasonable suspicion, that means hunches dont count, your personal property, which includes your vehicles cannot be searched at will!Clean License,Legal Rod,No smoking while driving,Cannot be searched, they can ask, again, say no,they will not go get a warrant to search your car if you are legal, car legal,no smell,NO judge in his rite mind would agree to that!99% of people get caught cause of stupid shit, taillight broke,Duh!!riding while stoned,Duh..inspection bad,Duh!!you get the pic,Contrary to what yer sayin,my rights are very much intact, and my vehicle cannot be searched without just cause!!

This has turned into a pretty good discussion. I still think that if i have it vacuum sealed in some dirty laundry that it is safe as its going to get because once they actually get a warrant or have a dog sniff.... your shit is gonna be discovered. The main thing is to drive carefully, don't smoke or drink in the vehicle, and don't have anything illegal out in the open... if you do get pulled over... pay it cool. cops pull over tons of people each month and don't search their vehicles. oh and make sure all your lights work properly and that you have current tags and license.......
