Second grow. Random strain, same shits.

So I am preparing my 2nd grow attempt with 4 of the same strain seeds I actually have curing at the moment (Mr. Nice's Shit) Check out my first grow attempt if you wanna see some of my finished product of that poo! I am also dropping in 2 random seeds from some great KB from my neck of the woods, which I am extremely excited to see how those 2 turn out in particular! Stay tuned!

Day one

Day one

Today is my first day in soil with six seeds. I'm not sure what size the pots they are in are, but they are a nice size for smaller plants and I'd like to do as few repots as possible. Four previous planted strains and 2 from the local herb. Hoping to get this done in 100 days or less since I have a better idea and less housing issues this time around.

48 hours roughly into growing, 4 sprouts and 2 still waiting on. Thinking the 4 are the Shit strains and the 2 lagging are the local seeds. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll see 6 lady's standing nice and tall.

Some good progress for a day. Always nice to come home to see some improvement. The 2 lagers are sprouted and headed towards the light. Not much more going on, but another day off the calendar, another day closer to harvest.

I'm extremely excited about the random ones and have high expectations for the previous ones. The light was actually a gift from a friend and I believe it's a 600 watt(?) Hps light. I do belive it's 600 because if hot hot it get compared to other lower watts bulbs I've seen. I actually have a good friend as well that surprised me with about 15-20 random seeds from high quality gonja from my neck of crop! His greenery is always high quality so I can wait to see all of these come to life.

Things are getting a little top heavy since I have to keep my light a bit further than wanted, due to high temps. But things are coming along nicely!

Once they get to the 3rd or 4th set of true leaves you should replant them and put the soil up to the cotyledons. It'll most likely grow roots all along the stem that's under the soil. You could also start doing some low stress training since its stem is still soft which is the best time to do the training.

Funny you mentioned that, last night I actually went ahead and filled the current pots all the way to the top. It took care of my heavy at the top and light at the bottom issue. I'll post more pics tonight to show the current results but things are looking nice and green!

Also, I am growing in a spare bedroom. I have the light supported in the center of the room and have white panels circling the crop

Looking good. Playing the waiting game. Have come home twice now and my lights were about 2-3 hours past their light switching with the light not turned on. Not sure what the problem is, but just the first speed bump of many I'm sure.
