Nice dude, very nice. Plan to run um again? I always had trouble with long flower sativa and coco, tough to get the feed right the first go around for me.

Some of those donkey dick colas... well done.

Congratulations for this beauties and thanks a lot for the great pics Kaskadian !
That's pure sativa's lovers porn and, in the very unlikely case it was needed, there could be no better advertising for Ace's awesome genetics !
These girls are just perfect and I'm afraid drooling over them is not going to help cure my permanent "I also need this strain's seeds" disease... ;-)
The best to all of you brothers :)

Sticky, thank you for the kind words brutha!

I'm a firm believer that Ace genetics sell themselves but I'm happy to stand on the soap box and scream my love for Ace to whoever is willing to listen. I'm not even through my first Ace grow and I'm already a convert. ;) These sativas are so exciting to watch/grow I feel like I'm a 15 year old kid again with my first magnetic 250w HPS growing a single plant in my closet!

Absolute beasts you have growing my friend those girls are going to have huge buds come harvest nice job great genetics and astute grower.

Thank you my friend! You're entirely to kind; growing these big sativas has been a dream of mine for 10+ years and it's possible because of folks like yourself that share the same love/passion for these plants.

Those are some jaw dropping flowers you got there, Kaskadian! Now I have no choice but to order some Ace seeds lol :dance013:

Cheers Gumby! You can't go wrong with Ace, go get a couple packs and get going! Hope to see you post up a grow log sometime soon.

Well done sir. They look like they are loving your treatment.

Peace GG

Thanks GG! Besides control these sativas seem to thrive with very little. I think these strains are a prime candidate for the old saying "less is more". Light, water, food and they're very happy!

Nice dude, very nice. Plan to run um again? I always had trouble with long flower sativa and coco, tough to get the feed right the first go around for me.

NCali, thank you my friend! I've taken cuttings off every plant (I'll post up pics below), and just never took them out of the cloner... they don't care at ALL. After doing a smoke test I'll determine which ones I'd like to run again. The problem with that is I've got so many packs of Ace sitting around that I'm dying to run it's hard to justify running the same stuff anytime soon. ;)

Coco can be a great thing or a massive headache. Personally I've been growing with coco longer than anything else and once it's dialed in you can get some great results. I think the speed of growth you can achieve off coco is pretty incredible. I don't know many people using coco for big sativas; I didn't even think it would be a decent option until I spoke with ULMW and saw his results.

That being said these strains don't need any help getting massive! I know most of the folks around here prefer soil which makes perfect sense for sativas. A nice rich soil with lots of good nutrients is about as easy as it gets; just water and wait.

Oh, what's your night time low temperatures? Curious if the purps will come out...

My temps fluctuate from around 20c/68f at night to about a peak of 25.5c/78f during the day. I'm thinking that might not be cold enough to really bring out the colors. I'm noticing on one of the plants the calyxes are going a dark purple but I'm not sure if that'll spread or not. I'll try to get some pics of that sometime soon for ya.

:thank you:

Here's the cuttings (all 5 plants) sitting in the cloner... I need to stop being lazy and take new cuts and get them transplanted.

Hi Kaskadian,
I totally relate to that brother ! Been growing close to 40 years and still feel just the same with every batch of sativa seed I drop in the water ;-) That's the reason I love breeding so much : each seed is a potential gem waiting to be discovered and to give us her best ! And if some turns out male or hermy, it's all part of this game's thrill :)
As the saying goes: when you meet a new girl, the best part is often when you're walking up the stairs with her... ;-)

These clones are unreal ! I hope they'll get a chance to give you their best, maybe outdoor, to save your indoor space for the discovery of others Ace's jewels... ;-)

Peace to all of you brothers :)

I can only blame myself for being to lazy to transplant them! I gotta keep some onions, cilantro, parsley because my wife burns through to much of them. It only costs $1 for 2 big bundles of cilantro but I'd rather grow my own and have it fresh. I just transplanted a bunch of tomatoes & peppers outside (bringing them in at night); growing up on home grown tomatoes I can't get down on those water balls the grocery stores call tomatoes.

I think that's just it brother, it's the final frontier for me in growing. I still love growing hybrids, indicas, etc but sativas offer an experience that is totally unique. Even within landrace sativas you see totally different phenos, traits, and growth patterns.

You mentioned breeding and it really is like hunting for lost treasure. I have very little experience breeding but I'm hoping to select some of my favorites from Ace and do some pollen chucking just for giggles to see what I come out with.

I can't speak on it much yet because it's still far out but I'm working on a new grow area to play with. Something to the tune of 25' x 10'. It'll be a work in progress but there is far to much I want to do to stay in a small room. If I didn't live so far north I'd be doing a lot more outdoor work with these beauties.

Thanks for stopping by again my friend!

Great job,congrats! :tiphat:

Syd, da man! Thanks for stopping by bud I appreciate the kind words.

ULMW, great to see you my friend! Thanks for stopping by, I know you've been busy lately but I hope you are otherwise doing well. The garden is chugging along happily and I'm definitely enjoying the show.

It's getting harder and harder to wait but I've made it more than 9 weeks since flipping them and I'm not in a rush. After that a nice long cure before these gals get sampled. I'm already thinking about the next grow to keep my mind occupied.

Hi Kaskadian,

I'm sorry to hear one of the Purple Haze x Honduras showed hermie tendencies.
It happens quite frequently when dealing with hybrids produced with P1 tropical sativa lines like Honduras, but not so much when dealing with more highly worked lines which we have had the chance to breed them over more generations to lower down more effectively their hermie tendencies.

I really hope the rest of the females stay sexually firm until the end of flowering because i'm drooling with every new update you generously share with us :)

And we at ACE are the ones who must thank to growers like you, especially for being interested in our latest works which have not been fully tested yet.
Without sativas lovers like you, we won't be releasing all these sativa lines to the masses

Hi Dubi!

I’m not worried at all about coming across one hermie. As I mentioned before it’s entirely possible that I did something that stressed the plant that I’m not aware of. Even if I didn’t stress this plant that’s part of the adventure that comes with exploring new crosses/genetics! I’m excited to watch these gals continue to develop and that excitement continues to grow everyday. :)

Thank you for all the kind words my friend! I’m having a lot of fun testing these crosses and I hope I will have the opportunity to test additional crosses both tested and untested in the future. I’m honored to be able to document this grow and have the opportunity to grow Ace genetics.

:thank you:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Alright guys, here's a few flower shots of the action going on. I'll try to get more detailed shots of the flowers when I can. Plant is filling out like crazy. It's hard to tell with my bad phone camera pictures but they're filling out nicely. Everything has a nice coating of trichs and definitely getting good resin production.

I can't be certain until the smoke report but I'm impressed with all three and the one pictured above (largest picture) I believe will be a keeper if the effects are as stellar as she is to grow. Great bud development, plant structure, and aroma. She grows basically vertical and I believe she would be a great candidate for SCROG.

This is one of the more unruly gals! She was only topped once, but had she not been topped she would have overgrown my space quickly! These sativas are a joy to grow; very exciting!

This was vegged for 18 days from seed before flipping. DO NOT WAIT to get these girls flowering if you have limited space! I'm about 1.93m|193cm|6'3" and this gal is nearly as tall as me with minimal veg time prior to flipping. Listen to Master Dubi and get these girls flowering almost immediately! This was done in approximately 2 gallons of coco.
