"Cathy Jordan Medical Cannabis Act" - SB 1250

i just found out about this in an email i get from a canna activist group.
i've been reading the bill and so far it looks promising. only allows 8 plants and 4 oz though, but better than the current anything more than a gram is a felony law in place.
