@evolution - Just AK and the Widow from SR-71. I've got some Sour D and Critical Mass clones for next run.

So, basically this grow is going horribly. I have some kind of root prob, I'm assuming from the rockwool staying too wet. I was watering them too much when they were in the 4" pots, and the roots haven't recovered. A few plants took off and got huge, but for the most part they are so-so.

AN's "Bud Blood" slows stretch too, despite me calling them to make sure it didn't. I was counting on the stretch from the AK to fill in the canopy, which it didn't.

It's gotta finish though. Sour D and Critical Mass for the next run will be a big 'ol party though. I'm switching medium AGAIN, this time to Canna's COGR slabs. I like the ready grow, but my yard is getting ugly with perlite. chunky coco should make a better soil ammendment, especially with my sandy soils. Rockwool will work better with it anyways.

I'll keep it posted when I get my camera back

I use r/w quite alot both hugos and slabs ....in veg i hit the r/w with a good strong initial soak of veg nutes and let them go thru a similar regime as with soil = wet/dry . With some lite top watering sprinkles here and there ...

Might flood tables every other day depending on RH and temps etc but once a day is plenty . Too wet is usually the culprit srry you had these problems 20K .

Here's a pic of my sour d's I was going to use for the next run. They're all 12" give or take. Unfortunately, I broke myself silly, so they're up on Craigslist now. They are getting too big anyways.

prune the AK. And I mean PRUNE. PRUNE, PRUNE, PRUNE!!! All the side shoots until a week or 2 into flower. She'll produce delectable nice fat solid tops if you do, and airy tops if you don't. Her lower branches will produce alot of CRAP as well, but when pruned she puts all that energy right into the tops.

wow glad i got the ak47 and widow in my garden they look great :)

sure am wondering what strain of WW that is filling that table ...sure couldn't get my SR71 BW babies to look like that. They came in alot more like shaggy dog like spears , very resinous and with alot of trimming ahead ....but have seen some other strains of WW's do this kind of large bat-cola like thing .
(Gaiusmarius's grow ...)

I'd be a bit daunted to know they were the same cuts from SR71 looking incrediblly more developed then mine . Is this what bushmaster has the power to do or the other additives ?
(which i've never used ...)

@ DigitalHippy - No one ever said this is a 20kw grow bud. It's actually a 6kw grow+limited veg space.

@ Nite - Nice to see ya bud:wave: I've been busy and not around much really.

@DB - No, that's only 2 lights. I refuse to take pictures of the other 4kw that are doing so/so. Imagine the larf of the standard AK, but then give the plants root rot, and that's what I have 4 lights of...****in sucks.

That last pic was of the whatever number of sour D's I have vegging that are already over 1' and still a couple weeks to take over the big room. I can't wait for that crop to get going. Every time I go in the room, I want to rip the crop down and get it out of there so I can throw those SD's in. they are doing so well and I can tell they're just itches to get their roots into some COGR slabs!

Nice to see ya'll, sorry I can't be around more to chat

Best wishes to everybody

20kwdreams..
i get it now 20k is ur name..
nice grow by the way, i love AK and your AK looks like my AK (minus the mites)
you should consider avid or floromite. there available in small quanities at your local hydro. and work very well.
keep it up, you could only get better as time goes.

I actually have floramite, but don't use it really. I may spray once before flower if I see even one might, but I don't get mites that often or bad. If you are looking at the damage on the plants, that's the infamous Bushmaster burn. 3ml for 4 days did that on the AK. The WW handles it fine. I usually run it 3ml for 5 days with only slight tip burn. Maybe I should go for 3ml/3days from now on. Anyways, I bomb my room with raid between crops, and don't perpetual harvest. Perpetual harvest is how you keep bugs alive. Running cycle crops enables you to clean your room between crops, as well as making changes to the setup where necessary without worrying about killing plants on accident, like say by dropping a fan or 2 x 4 on them:smile: That always sucks.

Thanx J-Roc, but this grow is a far cry from my best work.

So, I'm thinking about trying something brilliant, but maybe insane. I am thinking of trying to veg plants in the flowering room, the last week of flower. Sounds crazy, eh?

Well, think about it: If you've ever tried to re-veg a plant, wether if only a week into flower or all the way, then you know that it takes forever, right? Well, the it is obvious that 1 week is not enough to cause the plant to go back into veg, and will continue finishing, hopefully. Then, there is the hermi thing. BUT, I think it would take at least a week just to trigger the hermi mechanism, then another week to grow pollen sacs, then another 3-4 for a seed to crop up, right?

So the main concern is more wether they will finish properly. I was going to try it on this run, but my order out to Canna isn't going to come in on time, so I may be going with those Botanicare BOSS coco blocks.

All right, I'm out
