Looking sweet mang! I recently put some mosquito bits on the top of a few plants, along with major doses of myco's, had the fuzzies on top of the pots. Freaked me out at first, until I realized what it was, lol.

Been using this stuff:

^ i was told quantum is similar to Em1 microbes, but obviously is more diverse, the VSC contains humics and the light smells like ASS. Em1 has always smelled kinda nice to me.

Huesinomics: the fermented plant extracts are pretty cool DIY technique, I made and used alot of FPE in my previous garden (previous thread, "the elbow room"). the only downside to using them that i could tell was that my flowering cycles took a little bit longer than usual; i was told that FPE can delay senescence - and that was definitely my experience with them. If time were not an issue i think it could be a GOOD thing because buds wanted to KEEP swelling and growing before maturing.
IMO the most useful preparation was calphos via toasted eggshells (i mixed with crushed crustaceans) with either lacto/EM1 or vinegar (i preferred the lacto/em1 version).
On this garden i have not made any true FPE's, instead have been using plenty of bokashi in my topdress and Em1 foliar feeds and root drench.
That gross looking pic i showed was a quick soak (24 - 48 hours), not really an FPE altho it did contain all the neccessary ingredients; em1, panella (raw sugar), plant matter, water.

expealadocious - I'm not sure what has caused that leaf discoloration/veriegation. could be a pest, altho i've been regularly treating plants with a few different sprays (big time exterminator, iso, em1, essential oils). could be something in the soil i guess, but the plants appear to be happy & healthy. i think many of them could use to be transplanted and perhaps the temps dipped a bit low (65) during this most recent cold snap.

forgot to mention that i've put a pollinated female in the tents, it's a juicy fruit that was gangbanged by one Gorilla Glue x Blue Ox and one gorilla glue #4 x fire cookies
really pissed i had to kill those 2 males to protect the females in the house... i wish i coulda held them a few more days till i could make up a breeding chamber for them. (breeding chamber will be finished today, plants were cut beginning of this week when female budsites began to show in the tents. just had to err on the side of caution.

^^ that's rye grass growing up thru the hay mulch also some nasturtiums growing up, should be blooming around harvest time. i've sown clover seeds but haven't seen them sprouting thru the mulch layer yet.

Looking good. Careful with those nasturtiums though, they will take off and go ham if you don't start pruning it when it's getting bigger.

mm nasturtium makes a lovely edible flower that adds a peppery note to salads!

I had one in my baby greenhouse this past season and it really took off. I had it in my vertical pallet and that thing just kept wanting to grow out. I never trimmed it or anything though. I found out that I don't really care about growing food, mainly just weed.

i doubt that the nasturtiums will interfere with the ganja at all, there is plenty of soil in those pots. also i've never seen the nasturtium get taller than about 8 or 10 inches, more often i've seen them "cascading" over the edges of planters and kind of hang out from there.... if they do start interfering i will rip them out and tuck the plant matter beneath the mulch - worm food.

personally i love growing food, which nasturtiums barely count as... more like a spicy garnish. nothing at all compares to fresh salad greens.... truly, NOTHING at ANY grocery store compares. tomatoes are the same way - i haven't found a store bought one that compares to a fresh from the garden ripened on the plant tomato (maybe if u hit up some farmers markets at just the right time of season). I've nver seen nasturtium flowers in a grocery store.

Yeah, mainly cascading like you mentioned.

I totally hear ya, I love growing my own food - this year I did spinach, with onions and green peppers, tomatoes and cucumber. The I do all the herbs, basil, oregano etc - now when I run out of fresh veggies I hate eating from grocery store. It's not the same at all

I've now started doing veggies in my indoor room. I just popped some jalapeños and dill. Going to do some tomatoes and green peppers - with lettus and spinach.

I can't wait for spring again to get planting again!
