I was unable to find the wattageI'd love to try their lights - for the passive cooling and 2.2 umol/J efficiency. but I think I'd go with two of these instead, just because they'd be easier to handle and set up. You'd have two individual 12 pound lights instead of one 32 pounder. Also you'd have the option of running just one light for times when the canopy is small:

I was unable to find the wattage
Here's a great option designed by a grower for growers

You didn't look very hard - it's 320 watts, 700 PPF, 2.2 umol/J. What's the PAR number and efficiency rating for the Amare light?
I suggest you ask them
>>>FLUENCE VYPRx LED Grow Light

Hi jocat,
thankyou for the reply, yes i would be very interested in the lab tests.
I may actually get the VYPRX plus units instead as i think it will suite my space better than the spydrx. Do you have any experience of these? I know they have to be hung higher above the canopy 18" or more.
Murran, The spyders I have are the physiospec spectrum & the white light they produce is much nicer to work around than the red hps light, the plants responded right away and grow with no signs of light poisoning from being as close as 6" to the canopy, because you want them right on top stretchy strains require the lift every few days, I run a CinX that needs a daily lift & a northern lights cross that only needs it every 10 days..genetics..the trichome density was greater & the trich's stubby with a uniformity I have never seen before, same strains, Iv'e run them under gavitas many times, the trichs taller and more tangled under the HPS. I have all my products lab tested and the potency was the same at 7 weeks under the spyder as i get with 8 under the gavitas, this next batch went 8 weeks under the spyders and it goes out for testing soon, I'll post those results if your interested. one thing to consider is how much less AC is required when cooling a room full of these bad boys vs 1000w DEHPS, and say asta la vista to bulb changes, but the $ stings pretty good. I Just ordered a couple more
If it's important to you, I suggest you ask them
I've been looking at these too. Think I'm going to order two vyprx plus this weekend. Slightly more output then the spydr and little more wattage. The avg umol is higher then spydr too.

The Amare look like great lights, I just like how fluence is using passive cooling, so no worries about fans failing and burning out the lights and the vyprx+ only weighs 15lbs.
just ordered 3 units of the spyderx plus only for flowering. I use a MH 600w byulb for veg.
I would of have went with a few units of the Amare or the CX420 but height restriction was the main reason for purchasing these units. Working in 8ft space on flood table space is a serious limitation.
