Help with possible offgassing issue

hello everyone,
i hate for my first post back to be a cry for help, but it is just that. im having issues that i think i have narrowed down to a couple of suspects

my first thought is offgassing from something

my second thought is lockout caused from unwashed coco.

here's a little info on the setup,
the media is coco bales, the majority of which were from an unknown brand of some random shit from amazon. these are not my plants, i dont use cheap coco lol

the media was not flushed, but merely soaked and used right away. the nutrients are h and g run at 12ml per gal. at first i was chasing ph issues with this nute regimen which i think may have started the problems to begin with. ph would swing a lot day to day. once i caught on i checked it daily and the issues seem to back off.

i checked the runoff and it was extremely high. i watered with a very low ppm solution for about 3 days and then extreme yellowing set in and spread like wildfire. this is where shit got weird and i started suspecting offgassing. it was a complete and systematic yellowing of 90% of the plants and foliage almost from one day to the next and it still seems to be progressing even with high levels of nutrients. im stumped as i have never run into this before except in an offgassing situation in a tent, that i also used offgassing tubing for my ebb and flow table. i gave them the double whammy on that one lol. at the time the offgassing situation was just being discovered and i payed the price.

anyways here's a picture or five. let me know what you guys think. this aint my first rodeo. ive done multiple 5+ lb grows and never had issues like this. these are not my plants, i advised against many aspects of this setup but the owner did not want to listen lol. she would not allow me to flower them when i urged her to and now her plants are getting scorched as well which isnt exactly helping the situation.

Does anyone have a list of offgassing products to avoid in a grow room besides the old tents and ngw hose? i had made a carbon filter/fan manifold out of OSB board and it was in there right before we started having issues. it is not primered or sealed and the material stinks really bad. it was sitting in the flower room until tonight when i removed it just in case. i also have a dripper system built from 3/4 PVC down to spaghetti drip line at each plant. my walls/ceiling are lined with panda film roll and its a sealed room. im at a loss here guys.

another thought as to why it may be offgassing is that my veg room is unaffected. it is hand watered, it was not exposed to the OSB board, and the walls are out of reflective Styrofoam paneling and 2x4's from HD.

any help is much appreciated and im sure karma will help get you an HJ for your assistance lol

Are they getting any Ca and Mg? Have you done the potato test for Root Aphids? Lay 1" thick slices of raw potato on surface of medium. Check soil side of spuds daily for a week. Good luck. -granger

I know nothing about off gassing but I can help with h n g.

So I coco I use h n g at 1.0 to 1.2ec or about 6ml of a and b each in their coco formula. When I first measure it, it used to show super low ph. As my bottles aged, when I mixed it, it came out right around 5.8ph, so maybe u were having the same prob I had, and adjusted ph when u shouldn't have. but at any rate the nutrient strength sounds a bit too much. those would be my guesses of what ur prob is.

Screw the low ppm to flush. Ur messing with the cec, set it by using 1.0 at 5.8 ph till ur runoff comes out close or just above those numbers and u will be ready to rock and roll!
