What's new

Wholesale pot prices plummet. Now there starting to get better

greed is greed.. it has no heart.. it has no brain.. it changes people and destroys the quality of the plant..

and destroys growers.. i mean.. some of the best weed growers have to leave cali.. to make money. and its not nearly as safe.. anywere else besides co or washington.

Seen some outdoor bluedream for 12 and cookies for 16 today

seems about right for norcal right now, theres a few rack packs here and there from the desperate dumb growers but most everyone i know is holding firm on 12-14 depending on quantity/quality. personally I've only been working with one collective in southern california and just got 15 for a big order of top shelf strains cherry pie, tangies, gorillaglue, random OGs etc, but had to pay a driver to take it all down so company price on the hill is right around 14. i have some higher end units of my favorite OG kushes that won't go for less than 16-18 in san francisco but thats in smaller amounts under 10units.

no blue dream/greencrack in my garden this year. i do have some of the bland tangie phenos that didn't look as good that I'm doing for a couple pts cheaper than the name brand.

i know theres cheaper herb out there but it usually means another 2-3 hours driving north into the boondocks of humboldt/trinity county.

A buddy of mine just let 20 dreams go for 14 and he sucks at growing. They have a bunch of yellowed out, never once fertilized ogs they're doing for 17.

Prices are between 14-18 here in the " boondocks "

thats crazy! that drive alone is worth a few points!

got a buddy up near mad river who's been asking 11 for OG kush and i still dont want to drive.

good to hear prices are holding steady. just got 16 today locally for a couple straggler bubbas and cherry pies in san francisco.

buddy also just sold a few of last years stale, dirty feet smelling OD for 800.

^afaik, it all goes out of state and competes against the brick pack. the dude who bought them is notorious for moving low grade some people just have different markets lol…said he was gonna spray it with water to remoisten and send them.

it honestly didnt look too bad, still had some purple color and frost, think it was green crack…he was also saying that in SF right now most OD even blue dream is 14-15, and that some of the OGs i showed him could easily sell for 18-2 if i was willing to front, which I'm not so no deal…

i think its good to see OD prices holding steady at teens, last year "rack packs" were everywhere and totally bottomed out the market. lots of raids and compliance checks, coupled with drought might be some of the factors keeping prices up. or could also be most growers haven't gotten there shit trimmed yet and the flood will hit in a few weeks...

Spraying with water. Too funny! There is a way to "freshen" up dried out herb, without risking mold. We used to do it in the old days with bales that were dry. Spread a sheet out in the back yard, spread herb on it, and expose it to the morning dew. Has to be like 5 A.M. Works well, as herb freshens right up, naturally.

I did that a handful of times...jus open the turkey bag and leave it outside over night

Im with BYF on the flood being less than years past. All factors add up to less supply and I've heard there has been lots of really big packs being swooped up fast.

I know of three growers here in Michigan who lost their outdoor to mold because of the wet cold summer. I know of two others that were OK with enclosed structures using fans to dry plants.

Spraying with water. Too funny!...

Back in the 70/80s, most of the bricks/telephone books shipped from South America were sprayed with Coca Cola. We called it "Columbian"...cuz it was "sticky" I guess, lol. If it was sprayed with water the weed would get "moldy" and have that god awful ammonia-like aroma. Pitui! Could not sell it anywhere, not even in Compton. LOL.
