Mack's Chem Project.

Yeah, I'm just trying to understand the LOOK...more so than the harvest time. Because when I see hairs popping out like that late into flower...I panic and assume I've done something wrong...because usually when I see that...I see nanners in the same location of the hairs...

So I'm also kind of wondering, if the few nanners I'm seeing are not the result of a heavy feeding or heat stress...etc...

I'm really not criticizing as much as I'm trying to understand the end result and the outcome. Like I said, I think Jochen and I had the same talk / general conversation on a previous grow of his - and it had me thinking it was just the expression in the genetics - and honestly had me kinda bummed - although he said it was good / enjoyable smoke.

Now I'm seeing similar results with these genetics in his garden - and I'm realizing it is more environmental that genetic...and I'm trying to put my finger on WHY his plants are behaving in such a manner.

Only thing I can figure is high heat - or larger plants in small containers that are requiring him to feed additional nitrogen late into flower to in order to keep them green up to 8-9wks...

I'm just trying to learn why / how he's getting those results...and if those nanners I'm seeing couldn't be avoided entirely under different environmental conditions...

:yeahthats :chin: I would to learn why/how myself d.f..., but I respect ur request for privacy jochen... At any rate, u done well, nice grow... :tiphat: -F.S

I don't see any herms? Someone point them out.

Great job Jochen. Hope they smoke as good as they look.

Sometimes those bright yellow pistils that double back on themselves at the tips of foxtailing buds are easily mistaken for bananas.

From these photos it is impossible to tell what those yellow bits are. Jochen would have to answer that.

If they are nanners then it's probably a heat thing which would explain the new growth. Late nanners in flower has never bothered me, and let's not forget that this male came from the SkunkVa cut that guess what...threw some late nanners that opened...

yeah, that's what Jochen meant when he said "telling him a problem he didn't have" - in other words - no hermies on the plants that he saw...he said it was just lighting in the photos and the buds...

I couldn't tell one way or the other, but I know exactly what you mean, Hummus - that's why I was asking. I was glad to hear that he didn't see any nanners... :joint:

Mack's Chem Project

Mack's Chem Project

The whole culture is harvested and I'm very satisfied with the results. My personal favorit is the Stardawg x Chemdog '91, I love its taste the most, but there is no big difference to the Chemdog d x Chemdog '91, Face off OG or the Gorilla Bisquits, all those genetics are very potent, produce a big harvest and smell wonderful. When I try some of the fresh weed at the moment to get a feeling for it, I have to be very careful with the medics I have to take or it gets to much for a normal breathing. On the other side it shows me how potent it is, because I dont feel no more pain and can start to sleep easily. All in all it was very interesting to compare Mack's crosses with two very good commercial strains, he did a great job and I would like to try more of his creations. So he asked me to show a few pictures of the harvested plants and thats what I want to do now.

That are the pictures I made from the harvest, other strains like my Sour D.-cut or the Gorilla Bisquit you can find at my album.
When I could read the last posts I saw that everybody understood what dank.frank was asking for and I'm happy, I can tell you
that I found nothing, but some very good weed.
At the end I have to thank all those, who gave me so much reputation and feedback for testing Mack's seeds, thanks a lot,
it made me very happy! I hope to see you all soon in another grow, since than have a good time....

Excellent thread!

I'm planning on a little chem project myself but will be using the Chem#4 cut as the basis. My plan is to select a Chem leaning male from Escobar's Blue Chem and then take it from there.

Top work mate. Will be keeping an eye out on any future developments.

Again massive thanks to Jochen, thanks mate.

Shout to Edro! thanks man.

Bmac 1, keep em peeled maybe a drop around 420 time...

@ Pappy, Wow, they look great! Hope you find something you like.
sending good vibes for that dank chemmy funk!

@Soopy,thanks man. Soon i hope to be able to give you all the seeds you want!

@Bumba Claat, Thanks man.

So its been a bit quiet over here, posting wise.
(Due to going to Amsterdam and generally been super busy)

But behind the scenes the work has been going on.

Looking for the best males from each the 91 x 91 line and the D x 91 line
then, they will be crossed back to there ~(clone) moms.
(testing each male to see which passes the most chemmyness and best resin)

Love the results starting to come in now, @ least 3 other people have told me they
got both males and females in there plants.) good news!
Seems the Reversed (s1) Chemdog91 "Dad"
crossed to normal female clones (Chem 91 and Chem D)
produce's male and female progeny.

Testing is needed to know for sure if they have no Y chromosme.
