Wow... everyone complaining about how much oil tears up their lungs?
You guys need to read the threads on growing clean meds. *sigh*
Every batch of BHO from my stuff has been super clean, delicious, smooth and fucking awesome.... it just doesn't work my head right the way the buds do so I don't use BHO anymore.
Trying to clue growers into the real quality of their meds is turning out to be as effective as pounding sand.

ice water hash dabs are hit or miss.
the amount of char has to do with the grow, indoor chem gardens leave much more char than outdoor organic.

I dab oil AND bubble all day long.... You just have to have really, really nice bubble... like this pic above. I store a jar of bubble in the freezer, grab a pinch out, kind of roll it into a snake, and bust out some dabs!!
I personally find (full melt) bubble to have to strongest taste out of anything I have ever dabbed...

solvents win for potency/ease of dabbing.
water wins for flavor.

sourd has to be one of my favorite strains to run, so many terps mmmmmmmmm
with in the next year I could see my self dabbing icewax alot, possibly full time. can't wait to try it out for myself see if I prefer it to bho, the simple fact of how tasty it will be because no heat was used in the process makes my mouth drooooool

I concur! I want to emphasize it is all about the product you start with, fresh frozen makes for the tastiest bubble hash I've ever had, albeit was from my garden, and we always prefer our own over others, but for the record my friend made the hash from my trim so it was not completely mine
Maybe it's because I started out on ice extraction hash, unlike kids in the States these days... I'll never forget seeing the Icelator hash in the Netherlands for the first time... HOLY SHIT!!! Pure black and depending on the temperature it would just "chip off" like actual ice.Mad props to you my brother from another mother holy shit those are two extremely beautiful pictures right there!!! I know it takes high quality product from the get go (luckily I will have some very soon) but I need to fine tune my process… But it looks like you’re banned… So anyone else reading this that has the knowledge to produce similar (hopefully the same) consistency as Sam Selezny PLEASE HELP!!!
I am capable of collecting the glands, I just don’t have the art of finishing the product down… should I micro plane, use a metal strainer, or just experiment pressing at different moisture/temperature levels to achieve such a dabable consistency? Any and all knowledgable help is very much appreciated!

Great minds think alike!!! Sour D has always been a favorite of mine! I am smoking less and less tobacco these days but back in the day I would prefer a blunt of Sour D in a chocolate swisher over anything else, soooooooo much flavor you could taste it right through the shitty flavored tobacco
I am also trying to only dab icewax, or should I say solventless, although nowadays the ease of finding CO2 extracted oil is becoming easier and easier even though it is still steeply priced. I do understand the price coming from the expensive equipment necessary to make such oil, yet, I hope it goes down in price with all the competition being added to the marketplace.
