If its not ur place then all ur responsible for is what u damaged. I wouldn't be fixing up somebody else's house.

Unfortunately when you are growing in a rental you can't exactly call up the landlord to come fix shit. So it's either I fix shit, and make it livable or deal with the problems. I choose to fix what I want and leave the rest to shit.

yes that sucks alot.. we learned that on our first ever rental property.. we were just growing there. and not living... we had pond lining down.. and i walk into the room were the res was.. and it was literally like 6 inches of water.. in a 8x8 room. we made each room sealed enough that it could hold water no problem..

if we didnt use pond liner.. id prolly be in jail to be honest. the neighbors below would of called landlord.. and i woulda been caught ..

an oz of prevention equals a Pound of Cured.. if i remember the saying correctly. lol

hope all works out..

I've run pond liner before, but I've moved these rooms around so many times it just wasn't in the budget this run. Hind sight being what it is, I should have just spent like $50 to cover the area that the reservoirs sit. Bah...

Lol, not exactly taking that risk. ...especially now.

ya i totally understand that. ive had to tear down. move . 4 times in 5 years.. and then had a security threat. before i recently shut down my onsite rooms.. and freaked . and tossed everything outside.. and got my moms in a safe place and my seeds too.. and come to find out.. the dude next door gets raided for cocaine trafficking.

ive run some pretty gnarly rooms lately.. not wanting to spend anyhting on new anything until after the move. now also.. im buying stuff i can clean and reuse instead of the cheapest route.. like no more panda film.. ill grab some thick reflectix or orca something that can be cleaned up and rolled up and moved with little to no issues..

the panda film or mylar rips so easily its tough to move and not destroy it.

best of luck..

panda film has tiny pinholes through out.....if you are inside a hoophouse covered in panda during the day, you see tons of tiny tiny holes....they dont interupt night cycles though or make hermies during dep, ect..fwiw

I've used panda extensively in all of my grows. I know exactly what you mean by it not being very reusable, but I've managed to do so as ghetto as possible to get the current rooms up and running.

I've used panda on the floor as a first line of defense, but it being only 10' wide doesn't do much, and it doesn't stand up well to wear and tear from simply walking around and working in the room.

Oh well. Being as cheap as I have been is looking like it will be paying off. I basically doubled the # of lights I had in flower and added a whole second flower room and only spent like $400. I easily could have spent $2k. Guess that savings will go to fix the floor now, but having 6 lights going instead of 3 easily makes up for that.

Good way to look at it. that extra harvest will definitely make up for a little floor job and have extra on top!

Too busy for pics...

Pulled 29 zips of grade A+ nug, 6 zips of tiny nuggets, and another 8+ of sugar trim from the Strawberry Diesel tray. Finally surpassed that 2 # mark from a 1k. Closing in on 1 GPW!

Best run yet. Most of it is already gone too. Super stoked right now. Finally having everything pay off after barely scraping by for the last 6 months.

ya i ordered 100 feet of refletix this am.. figured the new house.. new materials. do it the right way from day 1.. an not have to fix anything.. plus.. reflectix i use gorrilla tape around the top of the wall.. so im not putting tons of holes in the reflectix.. and in just use a flat head screw driver to pull them down..

for pandafilm. i was using duct tape.. now ill use a cereal box.. cut up pieces into little squares and it works really well.. and because the box is so thin it works great. and doesnt allow the panda to rip as easy.

button cap staples or nails are good for this situation. But I like ur cardboard solution too.

I've got a thread I just posted over in growroom lighting if anyone has any info it'd be greatly appreciated.

Best Par Rating from 400 watt MH - 4200k - 20000k?

Another option is to run a 860w CDM over a 600w HPS. I'd need to adjust my wiring setup, but it's possible. I'm not sure a 4x4 is wide enough for that much lighting however... The 1k HPS over a 400w MH seems to be working fine in a 4x4 currently...

Thanks Dabs! I've got a few pics from harvest but still can't easily upload them from my phone.

...you may have inspired me to do the extra work tonight, maybe...

Due to popular demand, here we have some (Couldn't add the kewl pics smiley due to max of 5 pics per post...)

Strawberry Diesel (previously thought it was Trainwreck) at harvest. The individual nug shots here are a couple days before I pulled all the plants, and the whole plant shot is a picture of the smallest plant. It was the only one I could get down in one piece. There were 6 plants on this tray.

I thought I had a couple shots of everything on hangars but apparently not... Fail.
