Da corns is just slang for buds on the Big Island. Not really a strain that I'm aware off. Much like crippy was anything not brick weed in Florida at that time.

Interesting... So we take it that you have heard the history of OG Kush on the Adam Dunn show? You are correct, with the advent of dna testing or genotyping or whatever you want to call it, comes clarity and possibly truth about the most legendary strains...

On a side note, being from Hawai'i have you ever heard of The Corn or Super Corn or moreso the Swahili?

Also, any relation to the strain Supa?

And how did it get named Crippy?

Going on a surf trip from Kauai to Indonesia with a lay over in Florida? Sorry to be a dick kid, but you just can't come to a forum with a lot of old heads and start spouting bs and expect the folks that were there to not to say something. You should try RIU or keep to the uninformed followers on IG.

A I was told they brought seeds and a couple cuts of the crippy with them to bring to indo on a surf trip, Marijuana possession could get you the death penalty so why not grow it their vs. bring bud on them? Well they were layed over in Florida they decided not to bring the cuttings and only bring part of the seeds they had.

A layover 6000 miles in the wrong direction(tripling the distance)? How does that work?

Thanks, Surfd! When we lived in Hawai'i, we would get the corn from the Big Island... Also the Swah or Swahili very rarely... a pure sativa one-hit paranoia-inducing African landrace... Don't know if it's simply that herbs affect people differently in the Hawai'ian environments, but that shit was THE STRONGEST herbs we have ever had... If anyone has any info, holler!

^ my opinion is that tropical climates bring out the truly amazing effects of sativas , and Hawaii seems to be a lovely climate. Just my two cents, grow that same strain inside or in upstate NY and it would be very different..Volcanic soil :D

We had crippy in san diego in 90. Became a slang term for anything dank after that. We still use the term regularly. Still have the lanky 3 leaved varigated og cut in the stable. The cut i miss most came with the og from hawaii called garlic. She was a super fast 40 day finisher with the frostiest stinkiest nuggets. Bitch to clone and to veg though.

I agree hawian grown weed is some of the best ever ... always has a unique ness that cant be reproduced indoors...

I thought I heard blood is another name for kauai electric?? Supposedly the hawaiian spice part of chimera's hawaiian spice x sweet skunk is kauai electric/blood but who knows I guess.

EDIT: nevermind I think they are different strains, was just remember wrong. Still Chimera claims to be working with both kauai electric and blood, so we'll see

Really? Chimera is working with those, cool. Yeah Blood is different, my buddy just grew out a cut from Maui on Oahu but not too impressive, never wants to finish either.
