shopping for maple syrup by price instead of quality

butter pecan syrup, walmart apple fritter bread sliced thick dipped with orange juice, eggs, cinnamon and sugar and then deep fried. best French toast ever.

I prefer a thinner maple syrup. I find it more practical for my applications. (adding to dark roast coffee for example)

Like a #2 grade. So you still have the consistency and the taste...but its easier to work with...

...oh wait...is that classified as shopping by numbers then?

i know of this Shed N Breakfast where they have all you can eat maple syrup.

Rumor has it the establishment is infested with crabs though so be careful

good stuff costs$$$.. cheap stuff blows chunks...living in maple syrup areas as I kid I had my share of that sweet goodness....mmmmmmm.. I also miss the roadkill skunk in Vermont back then....maple syrup on bacon rules
