Yeah Crippy or the crip, da crip is used to describe good weed in Hawaii and Florida but the Crippy is an actually strain. Look into Humboldt Seed Organization they made em dog with B-Real and called it OG Kush x Chem #4 originally but once My story surfaced its know called it OG Kush "The Crippy".

Currently running some EmDog phenos.

Now the orignal description i have says "the crippy" but it also calls the cross chem4 x "keif sweat cut" of OGK. Is it one in the same or shady marketing? Not knocking, just curious as to what it really is.

Since the mid 90's in cfl everything kind was crippy. And yes no one outside of FL knew what you were talking about when you asked for crippy, also had to re-phrase to "kind" to make any progress

Geez, huh. Over here on the east coast by nyc, since my overgrow days, Crippy has been around since before my time when I got into the game around 04'/05'.

is this Crippy the same as piff, church, 187, skatey ect? My boy was picking it up for 6k a P. still 6k a P if you got 10 of em. All that was hoarded by the Dominicans out of Washington Heights. The good ole days huh.... What I would do for that piff and silver haze out of the hood... let alone clones or seeds. I still remember the smell....

I really doubt that the catpiss smelling herb from the 90s in FL is NYC piff, really seriously doubt it.

one interesting fact though, is that the cat-piss smell is easy to find among Colombian bagseed of medium quality pressed... found many phenotypes of the cat-piss smell during years of only growing using Colombian bagaseed...

i enjoyed the adam dunn history of og show, prob bc I enjoy a good story, until the 3rd episode when orgnkid said, and adam along with co host agreed, that all the main og cuts are exactly the same and if any differences are shown its bc they were treated differently.. anyone that has grown tahoe, sfv, ghost, etc. side by side knows they are different.. not just different expressions or based on nutes.. they are all very similar but if all are dialed and treated the exact same way there are obvious differences, especially in the aroma/taste category...most likely s1's IMO, and I think most in here would probably agree.

I've lived in Florida over 30 years. In the 80's, everything was "Gainesville Green." Any good pot was "The Green."

In the late 80's we were getting "Kirsch weed." It came vacuum sealed and it came with a picture of the Starship Enterprise on a 4x4 piece of paper. The engines were lit joints and it had the caption "Captain Kirsch". It was also called Curse weed by folks that weren't in the know. If it didn't have the little pic, it wasn't the real deal. Lots of fake "Curse weed" was going around.

I heard so many differing stories on Crippy. It was mostly called Kryptonite, but also Kryp, Crip weed, Crippy and Krypt weed. One rumor was it was grown by the Crips, hence the name. It was pretty much applied to any good weed.

I'm sure there was a clone called Kryptonite going around, but nobody I know has any idea what it was comprised of.

Great waves no weed and it used to be the death penalty. Pretty easy to bring seeds over and just grow it their no? Or smuggle in enough for two people to stay the season. Bummer George ended up living their for ALONG time and no he actually didn't bring Crippy cuts with him to indo just from Hawaii - Florida and SupaBob (my Dad) was along on the trip.

As I said on 1st post Batter Up cause I know everyones gonna giver their 2 cents and that fine. I know where it came from and am one of the few to hold the real cut. So talk all you want.

What it comes down to is alot of people telling stories about Crippy aka OG Kush or whatever you want to call it and the simply fact is they have alot to loose if in fact OG came from Hawaii and they are all running s1 or crosses. Who's gonna want those watered down genetics if my story is true and none are using the right cut for seeds?

Think about it surfers traveling the world acquiring seeds from weed they smoked or smuggled back and one of those surfers ending up at Taylor Camp Kauai back in the 70's with a whole bunch of seeds and seeing as weed was accepted in Haena back then as legal why wouldnt we have good genetics. now look at Florida yes alot of Marijuana was imported and if you think it all came from Colombia your a fool. I now multiple people who grew in Hawaii and didn't sell a single bud in the state all went to the mainland.

Like I said before believe what you want but show me someone with the Hawaiian Webbed Leaf Indica aka Duck Foot and im not talking wally duck that strain is wack and look at the Dark Green leafs the look identical to OG Kush but have webbing and then try to tell me with 100% certainty it a Florida Strain.

if my story was false why do so many want me cut and why did Humboldt Seed Org change the description of their EM Dog cross??? I have heard many say Breal is synonymous with OG and his cross was released as Keith Sweet cut of OG kush x chem #4 or something. Till my Dad's name got brought up and the fact I had his genetics then all the sudden its crippy x chem #4 because guess what BREAL knows whats up and as soon as I attached that name to my strain he did shortly after.

The community is sad instead of trying to ask questions and learn its all bashing and hate. That is correct OG is Hawaiian and arrived in FL with another cut called J1 its still around but nobody seems to really know about it. But OG wasn't called that in Hawaii or Florida it was called Crippy.
