I dunno... I see Ford trucks everywhere. Doesn't mean I'm gonna run out n' buy one.

Just because were choosing not to drink anymore (or the way we currently are), doesn't mean alcohol isn't going to be around us.

Just my opinion on that.

they spend millions on advertisement, images can have a powerful effect on the mind

and it's not about alcohol being around people who stop drinking, it's about people who are at the beginning of the process and looking for support. This is a support thread afterall. Usually when people stop, the friends and family are kind enough not to bring any alcohol around nor shove it in their face.

I understand that we can make them stronger by shoving temptation up their nose but not everyone can take that.

I would have to start drinking again to slurp down that curry mixture in the plate.Lol

Still its kinda of good post to show you some people will try and derail you. Its a bit evil to do so, 90% of the time it an alcoholic not wanting to see some one do something there to weak to do. They keep blinders on and surround themselves with other drunks in an attempt to mask there drinking problem. Its a way to create normalcy in an abnormal behave your.
If some one does this put them on the don't trust list. Its that simple.

I wasn't taking into effect that some people are easily swayed by either peer pressure or advertising.



Coffee shop I'm heading to shortly is built into the same plaza the liquor store is. Gonna be my first time getting one without the other in a very long time.

I've pretty much lost my taste for alcohol. I'm disgusted by the hypocrisy of American alcohol culture (with regards to cannabis). I received a call yesterday--a best friend from childhood has effectively drunk himself to death.
