Great posts Grass lands

To anybody that thinks I hate Obama, that isn't the case here in this thread. I was making the point that the leader of our country, the person most in charge of keeping our country safe is telling lie after lie. Do you trust Obama and his administration with keeping you safe IF something like this were to spread? Do you expect him, the great deceiver to tell the truth if Ebola was about to get out of control? I do hate being lied to, and Barry seems to do so every chance he can get.

The wife and I were talking we need to stalk up on food for the freezer. I told her we should make a extra large run just in case trips to the supermarket aren't an option for a while. Never hurts to be a little extra prepared.

You need to find foods that can be made from adding water. If an outbreak truly were to happen, the people operating the electric grid are just as susceptible as you are. Your freezer food would be ruined in just a couple of days. Just my opinion tho.

Get lots of Tinned Stuff with a long Use-by-date (pronto) if i were you.Imagining the effects (maybe) of an infected person who works at a food processing-distribution plant is scary.Other outlets too of course

Hey there Brother... dry beans and rice are good ways to go along with canned food and freeze and dehydrated foods...long shelf life, and stock up on water as well...remember at least 1 gallon per person per day...and thats just for drinking so remember your pets too..(reminds me to head out tomorrow and get at least a 6-12 months supply of dog and cat food.) I know powder milk is nasty..but its a good stock up item too.

there will be a lot of unknowns if and when this goes wide spread...

On freezer food and fridge food...its 24hrs for the freezer and 4hrs for the fridge and after that point its cook the shit out of it to kill any bacteria..

Obama is responsible for each death in our country from ebola. Flights from Africa should be cancelled immediately. But then airlines would lose money, and the stock market would dive. We can't have that, as corporate greed and the people who accept their bribes would suffer. Profits over people. That flights from Africa haven't been cancelled is mind boggling, and criminal, IMO. No way in the world should they be allowing Africans to fly around the world, spreading the virus.
As far as the bodies are concerned, they should be incinerated/cremated, not put in "hermetically" sealed caskets. Wonder what the government is charging us for those?
I also wonder why mosquitoes can't transmit the virus. If a mosquito bites an infected person, draws their blood, and then bites it's next victim, why couldn't the virus be spread that way? It's blood, a bodily fluid. Malaria is spread that way. By the way, ebola has killed a few thousand people. Malaria kills 2 million per year. The flu kills millions.
The Obama virus has already killed half a dozen children in this country, imported from central America through infected illegals who are being invited into our country in order to ensure a one party system. Enough illegals and their La Raza supporters/Hispanic "brothers", and the Democrats will control everything, and this is not a good thing. We need a strong third party, not the elimination of one of our two parties, and these decisions should not be made by illegals, who are being allowed to vote in many areas. If a significant number of Americans die from ebola, it's on Obama. Just add it to the long list of crimes he has already committed. Airline employees should be on strike protesting flights from Africa. Africa should be quarantined. This is a no brainer.
And sending thousands of our troops into the hot zone? Let the commander in chief go there and lead them, since it's perfectly safe.
Oh, that's right, no good golf courses in western Africa. I wonder what would happen if Obama's brother got it? Not securing our borders is suicide/murder.

Wouldn't mind seeing members of Congress take an extended trip to Liberia too.

Yes. I would like to see the White House and congress moved there. It will give them a better perspective on things. And quarantining is sorta like sequestering....so...they are well prepared. Obfuscation is their specialty. Maybe they can confuse the natives into isolation.

When Obama is done, the US will begin to resemble Liberia a little. I say Obama should become president of Liberia after he is done here.

President for life with his own personal golf course, and Michelle helping the citizens choose healthy food menus.

yup.. and this is crazy because a friend is an Firefighter.. and another is an EMT.. and both said.. none of the hospitals in the US.. and none of the workers at the hospitals.. are even close to READY for this to happen here.. if it happens.. its going to wipe out this country..

with the terrorists that wana take down americans.. and every other dumb person.. it seems like no matter what we do.. ITS COMING HERE.. which is retarded .. because in reality.. this should of never happened.. seems like another FALSE FLAG.. to take more of our RIGHTS AWAY.

Oh right, and stay for the insane survivalist talk too... seriously people, why don't you take some of your energy and put into solving local problems that you might actually have some control over, rather than imagined horribles that pit you versus the machine in a war you can never win (but you can sit behind your computer and rant about).

Look, there's a rational conversation to be had about Ebola and the extent to which our public health system is or is not ready to cope with an outbreak (I doubt there are many rational people who think every hospital in the US is ready, but I also doubt that anyone rational would fail to acknowledge that there are hospitals in the country ready to deal with a limited outbreak).
